This rental space is a large beachfront house/apart. Upper level 4-bdr, 1650 sq ft. with two optional rental units below. Sits directly on the beach, spacious balcony with stunning ocean views, pool, 10 min. walk to town. This Beach house/Apartment boasts a spacious balcony with fantastic views of the beach below and Tamarindo, great for morning coffees or sunsets or just relaxing and soaking up the sun. The house features an expansive open-plan living room. A fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, blender, coffee maker, fridge). Large family style eating area, 2.5 bathrooms with showers and hot water. High speed internet and smart TV with Netflix access. Each bedroom is air conditioned. You can also enjoy our shared pool and barbecue area. This amazing location is great for families, couples traveling together, or group work retreats.

We loved being on the beach. The beach had beautiful sand, it was swimmable and safe since it is a protected harbor like area. We enjoyed surf lessons thanks to the host's connections, and massages on the beach. the staff was very friendly and helpful. They got us sand toys for our children, plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, and the grounds were impeccable. We walked the short distance on the beach for dining in the town and the family enjoyed that experience very much. The ambiance was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Awesome property in Langosta. Walking distance to Tamarindo but remote enough to relax and unwind. Staff are very helpful and great property for larger groups. Would recommend to anyone.

Great Time at Tamarindo Beachfront

Out family of four had a great stay at Beachfront. This is the best location in Tamarindo. A short walk into town, but out of the bustle. The view and breeze from the patio were wonderful, and Howler monkeys roamed the trees above the yard daily. The main living area/kitchen does not have AC, but we spent most of our days outdoors. The bedroom AC units were adequate. The staff was helpful and friendly. We may be back.

Overall very nice space. Staff were wonderful. Host was quick and thorough in response. Deck was perfect overlooking the ocean. AC in bedrooms were a wonderful respite from the heat. We loved the walk into town via the beach. We also saw quite a bit of wildlife from the porch including around 20 howler monkeys, several large lizards (the largest was maybe 18-24 inches long), and many constantly feasting pelicans. There were 2 ceiling fans and a floor fan in the living room/kitchen but that wasn't enough to cool from the very hot temps (ave. 95 degrees/day). They were also working on spraying a large beehive which was in the kitchen wall. most of the bees were killed outside but there were still probably 75-100 that died in the kitchen/livingroom. They didn't sting but were not pleasant. Regarding the washer/dryer...the write up says at one point that there is one and another point mentions that it costs $15. To be clear, it costs $15/load.

Great Place!

Great location and house and grounds were well maintained with a helpful grounds worker on-site most days. You could walk a few hundred yards down the beach and be a one of many beach front restaurants. Monkeys visiting daily were fun. Only drawback was the lack of AC in the main area. Pool and decks were great.

Everything we were looking for.

The place was perfect. Right on the beach and a short walk into town. Nice deck and lawn to relax on. As well as a swimming pool and bbq to hang out by. The owner (Robert) was on site as well, in one of the smaller. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for.

Pros: right in front of the beach Further down from all the noise and music of Tamarindo so much quieter Really big place with a nice big balcony Cons: No AC in the main area of the house. Only in bedrooms. It was crazy hot and we were with a group but all stayed stuck in our rooms The communication was hard. Getting into the place, getting our COVID tests arranged, trying to get extra fans or portable AC (neither happened), a beach umbrella (never happened). The beach is really rocky in the water by the house, so we had to walk way down to be able to swim in the ocean. Overall, it was nice

Relaxing stay in a fantastic location!

We stayed 2.5 weeks in this lovely 4-bedroom house. We enjoyed our stay immensely (very quiet/relaxing, great location, large open kitchen/dining/living room, lovely porch with great view of the ocean). The staff (especially Antonio) was fantastic. The house is at the far south end of the beach (it's very quiet). Several wonderful restaurants are within walking distance. A few things I wish I had known going in: (1) the amenities say "air conditioning", but the units are only in the bedrooms (no AC in the living area / kitchen / bathrooms), (2) the amenities on the main page lists "washer & dryer"; if you click on amenities, you see "staff does laundry for a fee" (it currently costs $15/load), (3) everyone staying in three of the bedrooms share 1.5 bathrooms (one bathroom is attached to the "master"), (4) when high tide, you need to walk into town via the road (and there are limited sidewalks), (5) if you like to cook (we don't), the pots/pans/etc. are old (not great), and (6) if you reduce # of days you are staying, VRBO doesn't reduce the taxes/fee unless you cancel/re-book (which we were hesitant to do as we were not guaranteed that we would get the rebook). I was not really bothered by these issues (except for the ~$500 extra cost due to #6). My kids/friends that stayed also were totally fine. Alas, my 80-year old mother had trouble with #1 and #4. Overall, a great place that I'd be happy to rent again!

Fantastic stay in a great location

This property is right on the beach, but it is far enough down that it is still quiet when the rest of the beach is packed with people. It's a short walk on the beach into the center of town so getting to restaurants and bars is easy. The cleaning staff and caretaker of the property are friendly and do a great job. Highly recommend!

Casa Corona Del Mar stay

Totally enjoyed our stay for a 1 week surfing trip, 4 people total. Owner was there and very helpful/friendly. Kudos to Katarina for timely communication throughout. Only 2 minor issues, there are 2 bathrooms and 1 is ensuite connected to the master but it was hard to tell from the listing that this was the case. Also, during our stay, there was considerable work going on for a new pool and walkway additions.......we were not informed that this was happening and the workers started fairly early and there was noise off and on thru the day. So, that's worth asking about if that is an issue. Other than that, we had a GREAT stay and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a house where you can hear the surf and be on the beach in seconds.

Great Location at local beach cottage

Best part of the rental was the location and the friendly super helpful workers that would assist you if we needed anything. House isn't remodeled, it felt like a Latin house, which is totally fine... after-all you are in tropical Costa Rica! So don't expect luxury from this property, but expect wonderful service from hosts and 24/7 service at the property for the local house managers, if you need anything. I can't say enough of the host and her crew, they were so helpful and kind to our family. Location was fantastic.

Tamarindo beach stay

loved the place! Was even better than the pictures show. we had the main house for 3 nights. 7 of us (3 couples +1) were very comfortable. beautiful beach that felt private at the bottom of the property. Close enough to walk to town and restaurants etc. Check in and out process was very easy, and cleaning staff were very helpful and respectful. Would definitely return!
