We stayed at this condo for 7 nights and honestly thought it was even nicer than the photos! The location is unbeatable you can walk right out the entrance and have easy access to restaurants, shopping, surf rentals, grocery store, tour buses, and Tamarindo Beach. We did have to visit the nearby medical center once for our son (nothing major), and it was just down the street. They were wonderful, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. One of the highlights was the family of howler monkeys right outside the condo it was such a unique experience to see and hear them every day! The only downsides for us were the beach music from Thursday through Saturday and some construction on the condo directly in front. The music is quite loud, but it wraps up by 9 PM, so it wasn’t too disruptive. Overall, we always felt safe and were very comfortable here. We would definitely stay again!

This was a spacious and clean condo, and it had everything we needed. The pool/deck was great and big and had shade in the afternoon to give relieve from the sun and beach with plenty of seating. Security at the main gate 24/7. Danny th owner was easy to communicate with. The auto/smart lock made checking/out super easy and no worry of keeping track of a key. You can cross the street to the beach and walk easily to all shops and restaurants of Tamarindo, no need for a golf cart.

Great condo. Perfect location for beach access and close to restaurants and shopping. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for a family of 4. Fully furnished condo including washer/dryer which was very nice to have. Only wish there had been washcloths available and maybe some spices for cooking. Host was very communicative and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

The location of this condo is excellent. You are right in the middle of Tamarindo with access to everything. It’s nice to have a dedicated parking spot if you have a car. The beds are comfortable and the shower gets hot. A few things that could use improvement. New shower heads and soap and shampoo. I’ve never stayed in a VRBO that didn’t provide that so was surprised.Couple of issues that did get resolved fairly quickly. We had trouble getting into the condo. There was something weird with the keypad that was very unintuitive. It doesn’t work normally and should be fixed. After driving 6 hours, we wanted in the condo. When I didn’t get an immediate response from the host, I went to security and they said they would send someone. The host did respond and also sent the same person. We learned how to operate the keypad and could get in but when you tap it, only a few numbers light up, you must punch each one individually to clear before whole keypad lights up and you can enter code.The air conditioning stopped cooling one afternoon. As soon as I told the host, he had someone there within 15 minutes and it was resolved so he was very responsive to the issues.

Very nice condo in Tamarindo. Nice clean apartment with upgraded appliances and lots of space. Owner was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Location is great, right across the street from the beach and a short walk to central avenue. Overall, a great stay and would recommend to everyone.

Great condo

From check in to check out this place is fantastic. The location is perfect. Close to the beach and lots of shops. Great view of the sunset each night from the patio. The host Danny is prompt to reply with any questions we had. Highly recommend this place.

Apt has a great location and was very clean and the pool was very nice. Check-in communications were last minute after 2 prompts from me. Experience could improve with inclusion of soap/shampoo, reserve toilet paper, coffee, etc

Decent layout of condo. Absolutely cheap furnishings and zero amenities. One roll of TP per bathroom

Owner could make it nice but lousy amenities. Washer and dryer with no soap. Cheap crap ruined the stay. Coffee machine with no coffee. Not the way I would manage the place. Will not stay in that unit again.

Great location in Tamarindo

We love the Sunrise Condo complex and have stayed at other units many times over the past 10 years. This unit was nice, spacious and clean. I wish it included a little more extras - extra toilet paper, paper towel, some toiletries
it was just the very minimum. Danny was easy to work with, but communication sometimes took a little for him to respond. Location is the best and the pool is great. A little noisy on Friday night when the neighboring bar had its music going late into the night.

Amazing property right in the heart of Tamarindo. Pool area was much needed for hot days. Lots of restaurants and shop and grocery nearby within 1 minute walk. Will be back!

Lovely condo in a great location.

We've stayed at Sunrise before, this unit was our favourite. It's even nicer than what we expected from the photos. The location of the balcony is quiet as it does not face the pool, which was great for our late evening dinners. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Danny answered our inquiries within a day. All great and no hesitation in recommending it.

The property is located in the center of Tamarindo. Becasue of the location is was not very quite at night but it was convient for the beach restaurants and local grocery store.

Location is perfect

Location is perfect, close to everything. Condo is in the middle of town and you can walk to beach, restaurants and stores. Condo is setup nicely and you can view sunset from balcony. Two thinks to consider, on Friday nights there is a bar next to condo that has loud music which goes on late, but it is only on Friday night. All other nights it was quiet. Hot water is only available in the master bathroom, which I wasn't aware is the norm in Costa Rica so just be aware that the second bathroom doesn't have hot water in hot shower. Other than that we had no other complaints and the location is really perfect for great family vacation.
