On arrival, we had to wait at reception for the owner to check us in. He claimed the room hadnât been paid for, but said he had our card details and would use those. The booking was paid through Expedia, but he hadn't taken the payment. I asked what time breakfast was, but he said I had to pay extra for itâdespite the property being advertised with FREE BREAKFAST. Looking back at other reviews, it seems Iâm not the only one misled by false information.
After checking in, we were told our room wasnât actually thereâwe had to walk another 500 meters to a different building. Thereâs limited parking outside, but luckily we found a space. To access the room, you have to unlock the main door with a key safe and then find your room yourself. Itâs completely unmanned sleeping accommodation.

The sofabed was dirty, with cigarette burns and stains on the bedsheet. It was clear the beds had never been moved for cleaning. The kitchen had damaged appliances, and there was no bag in the bin. The room smelled of cigarette smoke.
In the bathroom, when we took a shower, water ran everywhere except down the drain, flooding part of the bedroom. The floor panels were already damaged, so it clearly happened to guests before us.
