Owners have a "For Sale" sign at the roadway. This is very telling for the remainder.Over half of the drawers in the dressers/night stands are broken. My kids had to stack their drawers on the floor in their room because they could not be used in the dresser.Fitted sheets were not on the beds at arrival, rather in the drier. Disappointing to have to remake your bed upon arrival.Futon bed/couch frame in the living room is VERY broken. This could not be used as a bed at all. You would have to remove the mattress to the floor if you wanted to use it as a bed. To me this makes the claim that this place sleeps 6 not true.Washer/dryer are not shown in the interior pictures. They are of the stackable variety and are located next to the fridge where the dining table is shown. This is especially deceptive because it gives a very inaccurate sense of the space, worse the table is now in an area with no overhead lighting and makes accessing the master bedroom and bathroom cumbersome.Kitchen tools, pans, etc, are laugable at best.Significant spider problem.NOT property owners fault or factored in my rating:We really were looking forward to using the lakeside area shown in photos for camp fires, throwing a ball around, sitting by or going out on the lake etc. This was not possible due to the HEAVY amount of mosquitoes. We had one afternoon with enough wind off the lake to keep them down but apart from that the backyard was unuseable despite all our mosquito defense efforts.

Cottage life

We usually visit PEI with our camper, but this year we decided to rent a cottage. Our stay in Mount Stewart was great. The cottage was clean and it had all of the little details we needed. Communication with the owners was excellent. Wewoulrent from this owner again

Peaceful oasis

Super chalet. Parfait pour notre famille de 4. SituĂ© au centre de l’üle prĂšs de Charlottetown. La localisation centrale nous a permis de visiter les 4 coins de IPE pendant les 10 jours de notre sĂ©jour. Bien Ă©quipĂ©. Nous avons profitĂ© du lac et du terrain. Je recommande sans hĂ©siter

TrÚs bien mais quelques pépins!

Deux amies en vacances pour la semaine. Le chalet Ă©tait parfait pour nos besoins. Tout Ă©tait propre Ă  notre arrivĂ©e. Les hĂŽtes ont rĂ©pondu rapidement Ă  nos questions avant notre sĂ©jour et semblaient trĂšs enthousiastes de nous accueillir. Malheureusement, nous ne les avons pas rencontrĂ© en personne. Le grand lit Ă©tait trĂšs confortable, toutefois le lit Ă  deux Ă©tages n’est pas l’idĂ©al pour un adulte. Le systĂšme de climatisation et les ventilateurs nous permettaient d’ĂȘtre au frais la nuit. Nous n’avons pas eu accĂšs au wifi durant notre sĂ©jour et mĂȘme avec les donnĂ©es cellulaires, c’était trĂšs lent et parfois impossible de faire des recherches sur internet pour planifier nos activitĂ©s (avec Telus et Bell). Les propriĂ©taires ont contactĂ© un technicien mais le problĂšme n’a pas pu ĂȘtre rĂ©glĂ© avant notre dĂ©part. J’ai dĂ» payer des frais pour l’ajout de donnĂ©es cellulaires. Aussi, il y avait un nid de guĂȘpes Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la porte patio. C’était trĂšs dĂ©rangeant. Nous avons informĂ© les propriĂ©taires le samedi. Rien n’a Ă©tait fait. Nous Ă©tions rarement au chalet sauf la derniĂšre journĂ©e oĂč j’ai Ă©tĂ© piquĂ©e par l’une d’elle. Si vous louez, assurez-vous auprĂšs des propriĂ©taires que le problĂšme est rĂ©glĂ©, surtout si vous ĂȘtes allergique. Dans l’ensemble le chalet rĂ©pondait Ă  nos attentes. DĂ©cor magnifique, parfait pour un feu, mais apportez votre chasse moustiques! Nous n’avons manquĂ© de rien (sauf de savon Ă  vaisselle).
