Smiths Lake
For those wanting to enjoy still waters instead of the open ocean, Smiths Lake is the number one choice in the Pacific Palms area. Shrouded by a lush littoral forest and neatly separated from the sea by Sandbar Beach, this is a family favourite for those eager to enjoy a spot of water-skiing, boating, paddling or windsurfing (the open lake waters making for a windsurfer’s dream!). With an impressive catchment area spanning 32 square kilometres and waterways of 11 square kilometres you can enjoy all the benefits of this unique, tucked-away calm waterway. However, should you feel a pull for the waves, the picturesque Cellito Beach can be accessed via a boardwalk at the northern end of Sandbar Beach.

Our extended family, including dogs stayed for a week. The house was perfect as three bedrooms had ensuites and a separate toilet in the large laundry, huge lounge - dining - kitchen area with plenty of comfy seating, large well fenced yard with more comfy furnishings, close to many beaches and fun activites.

Family Holiday

We came away with the family and really enjoyed the house and location. The size of living area and kitchen was great for everyone and having 4 toilets and 3 showers was fantastic! The size of the 4th bedroom was quite disappointing as we booked for 8 adults and realistically the 4th bedroom would have suited 1-2 toddlers
. Very unsuitable for 2 adults unfortunately. Also the shower in the 2nd bedroom flooded on the very first use so we had to open the drain cover clear the drain hole and leave it off for the week. Overall we really enjoyed our time away and would stay again if there were a couple less of us coming.
