The shower has recently been modernised and gas-powered hot water has been installed to provide greater comfort to guests.
The high-ceiling kitchen and lounge area are open plan with stunning 180-degree north-facing lake views.
Private off-street parking is available behind the cottage.
The property is only a 1-minute walk to Lake TaupĆ across a reserve in front of the cottage. The beaches straight in front of the house are great for swimming and water activities. The Great Lake Walkway can also be accessed right in front of the house for walking and cycling alongside the lake.
Several other amenities are within easy walking distance such as Rainbow Point Dairy, Fish Box Takeaways and Ploughman's Restaurant (450 metres / 10-minute walk). Two Mile Boat Ramp is a short km away and the Sailing Club Bar and Restaurant 2-minute drive or a 15-minute walk along the lakefront.
This cottage is ideally suited to couples, families and small groups who are looking for a peaceful stay with beautiful views and basic accommodation close to the lake.
