Good place to stay with family , thought place was better than what could make up from website when booked. Enjoyed staying overnight with family. 4 stars because couple of things -Body Wash in bathroom dispenser was not working and plumbing was jamming a bit in sink- however did not bother so decided not to escalate to staff.

We had an awesome stay with our family over the New Year period. Even though the hotel was right by the main road, we felt very secure knowing our car was safe in the property. The new owners are great to deal with, very accommodating and quick to rectify any issues. The property was clean and the rooms have been updated which feels very modern. Great stay, will definitely be back next time we are in Tauranga/Mount Maunganui

The Staff were amazing! So friendly and relaxed - nothing too much trouble! Love that these guys are giving it a crack! Travelled around the world and have come across many twice their age who could learn a thing or two!

The room was in good condition, fresh and clean. Could do with a coffee table or side table beside the couch, and a grab rail to help get in and out of the shower over the spa bath. No non-slip mat, so it was a bit slippery. The Sky TV wasn't working properly, mentioned it to management, but nothing happened, we had chosen the motel because it had Sky and my husband really wanted to watch the Boxing Day Cricket, but that wasn't possible because it wasn't working. Unfortunately, when the place is full, the car parking is terrible, no room for error, you need to let passengers out before parking, as the parks are terribly narrow.

I enjoy staying at this motel because of its location and ease of access. It's recently had a nice renovation refresh which brings the area into a nicer warm and modern feel. I noticed a sign on the door suggesting the office was closed at 5pm daily. So if you are planning on arriving after this time, make sure they are aware.

This motel has new young Kiwi owners who have just finished renovations - the rooms are beautiful and freshly decorated. It's a great location - walking distance to a huge range of restaurants and bars and the beach and Mount. Highly recommended.
