Welcome to Ocean Pointe Suites!

Come unwind in our tropically inspired 2 bedroom 2 bath condo – an escape to paradise awaits! This vacation condo offers a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and living area. We are set on a 60 acre sanctuary– no city lights – no traffic sound - simply paradise! Close to all attractions in Key Largo and Islamorada. Snorkeling, diving, fishing, birding, dining are available within minutes. Enjoy our private sandy beach, pool and marina. Relax…Recharge..Resort with us!

Our beautiful two bedroom/ two bath condo boast two separate bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a king size bed and the guest bedroom will have either two twins or one queen (we would be happy to note either bedding type in your reservation but please note that condo assignments are done the day of arrival.) The kitchen is equipped with a full size fridge, full size range, microwave, dishwasher, basic pot and pan, silverware, dishes, blender, and toaster. For your comfort towels and sheets are provided, including pool towels. There condo also have a stackable washer/dryer in the unit. The living room area has a pull out queen size sleeper sofa.

Sunbathe on our private beach or on the sundeck of our junior Olympic size swimming pool with Jacuzzi.

Please note condos are individually owned and actual décor may vary from photos. This listing is only the accommodation, it DOES NOT include space on the marina and/or trailer parking for a boat. If you are interested in bringing a boat, you must contact the Property Management of Ocean Pointe Suites/Dock Master in order to reserve a space after making a reservation for the condo.

Check in time is at 5PM and checkout is by 11AM. Our front desk is open 24 hours a day to accommodate late arrivals or early checkouts. Please feel free to contact our front desk anytime during your stay should you have questions, need suggestions, or need additional housekeeping or maintenance items.

A refundable credit card deposit of $50 per day on a major credit card is required at check in. No RV’s, trailers, jet boats, or jet ski’s are permitted on property. Additional fees, insurance requirements, and advance reservations are required if bringing a boat. Minimum check in age for the cardholder must be 21 or older. Sorry, no pets allowed.

I searched high and low to find a place with a second bedroom that had two twin beds. I did research and knew that there wasn’t a lot in Tavernier. That part was correct. The part I don’t love is that there is no front desk here to just stop at if you’d like to exchange your pool towels (so plan to wash and dry them yourself each day) or to get another room key. Once you checked in, you are own your own, like a rental home. They have a nice big pool and too small of a hot tub. It’s 4:30pm and there are ten people in it that have been there for 30+ minutes. Guessing it’s packed al night. Also, there is no restaurant on site but there is a food truck so that’s nice. They do have a very small beach too. Overall the room is very nice (we were on floor three in building 2) and it has been updated within the last few years. No dishwasher in our unit, but there is a deep freezer for your fish! Laundry in the unit is nice. Just remember to get laundry soap when you get groceries. We stayed three nights and it was quiet and nice. We spent most of our time off site and on tours. Two hour drive to Key west. We went down and back in the same day. That was a long day and I don’t recommend it but the jetski tour was awesome! Definitely need to have a vehicle down here to get anywhere. Overall, it’s nice!

Unit was nice, but the decor was different from any of the photos, so be aware when making reservations that you may get a unit slightly different from the one showing in the Vrbo listing. The place is very quiet and peaceful, and the scenery is very serene (we stayed on the 4th floor). Unfortunately, water pressure in the showers, in the unit we stayed in, was very disappointing. Pool area is large and nice. Beach area is pretty, but the water is shallow and the ground isn't sandy (rocks, rock sediment, vegetation), so swimming isn't trivial. Location is closed to Key Largo and Islamorada, so a 20-minute rise can get you to many restaurants and attractions in the area. Note: There are no shops or restaurants on site, so if you plan on eating in the unit, you'll need to go shopping for food. A food truck, selling grilled/fried food and cold drinks/shakes, is stationed next to the pool and is open from 11 AM to 7 PM.

Very quiet retreat
The unit was very quiet. It had the basic cooking utensils but nothing extra. The restaurant wasn’t open during our stay and there isn’t any eating establishment around the resort. The deck had a nice view but was extremely small for two people. We didn’t use the beach or pool, so the resort fee was a waste of money for us. We did like having a traffic light at the intersection on highway 1 to allow us easy access. The grocery store wasn’t too far away and the Henry Harris park is walkable from the resort.

Paradise oasis rm 2311 Tarpon suites
The place was clean upon arrival and almost everything worked. Comfortable king bed and two twins. AC was great. My key cards failed, and guest services had several new ones which were promptly delivered! Kudos to guest services! The only thing I had a problem with was water volume and pressure coming out of bathroom sinks in both bathrooms. It was barely enough to wash hands and brush teeth. However, shower pressure and temp was great, which is more important. TV in bedroom did not work, but the living room TV did! I would stay again if more volume out of sinks were improved. We did have some boisterous renters next door who partied until about 3am. Walls are not thick, and luckily they were only there for about 2 nights. I did not know that a deposit was required at check in, but not a problem and understandable.

Quick dive trip
We came to the Keys for a few days so my husband and daughter could get some dives in while I relaxed and enjoyed the sun. This property was perfect! Sandy beach or large pool, you are covered and the room was clean and comfortable. We will return!

Centrally located for adventures
Took 3 college girls and my 14yr old son to The Keys for the first time. Loved the view from our place. It was centrally located, so we could go South or North for day adventures and food! Complex was quiet and clean. Pool was perfect. It worked out beautifully!

The apartment was beautiful and we enjoyed the resort. My only word of caution is the communication with the property managers can be a bit strained. Sometimes it took a few days for an answer. If you need an answer urgently, I would suggest calling not, messaging on the app. Other than that, highly recommend
