If you love an amazing unique property, Garden House at Dreamers, Mt Beauty will be ideal for your family or group. We are located in Mt Beauty, 35 minutes from Falls Creek and 20 min from Bright.
Garden House features a log wood fire and private hot tub (no jets ) overlooking winter snow mountains and a summer use pool on our resort property. In ski season enquire about the adjoining apartment for additional 7 guests.
One dog maybe allowed with permission (1 per stay) NO pet left alone in Apt.
The Space:
Garden House is uniquely different and located on Dreamers 5 acre resort property right in the village of Mt Beauty.
Entering thru a light filled garden conservatory the Garden House offers guests 2 split level living spaces featuring a stone log fire in the conservatory (firewood supplied) and a tree couch.
The upper level is very spacious with a TV, lounges and a large timber slab dining table (seats 12 so perfect for Christmas festivities / big family get togethers) and a marble topped breakfast / cocktail bar.
As this property is a converted cafe it is not for guests who like normal mainstream accommodation but amazing for those who love something unique, stylish and comfy.
Firewood is supplied for your winter stay and aircon for summer and winter use.
Adjoining the conservatory is the private courtyard with outdoor fire and electric BBQ.
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms to sleep 8 people.
All bedrooms feature colourful quality French country linens and warm winter doonas.
We do not provide boring white hotel style sheets however I do believe in beautiful white clean towels and fluffy white robes.
One bedroom (with 1 double bed and 2 single beds) and one bathroom is located on the main floor level then up a staircase to the 2nd floor are a further two master bedrooms one with a beautiful feature King bed and another with a Queen bed and private step out balcony both share a bathroom with large bath overlooking the mountains.
The galley kitchen and lower floor bathroom run off the main living/ dining area.
Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas stove top, electric oven, microwave, coffee machine and rice cooker.
The laundry has a front load washing machine and tumble dryer.
The adjoining outdoor area is pretty secure for most dogs and children with play equipment for children including a trampoline and table tennis.
Ski shops and restaurants are a few minutes walk from the property.
Falls Creek ski resort and Bogong High Plains is a 35-40 minute drive for some great skiing and for the non skiers visit the beautiful Fainter Falls waterfall and do some bush walks or bike riding or visit local villages such as Bright, Beechworth, Yackandandah and local wineries.
For larger groups we offer an adjoining apartment called Treetops to sleep an additional 7 guests…total would be 15 guests …. please send an enquiry if interested.
Guest Access:
Pool is a summer use pool and is not heated for the winter cooler months. It is shared with a few other accommodation rooms over summer on Dreamers property but does not get too busy.
The Kiewa River is a short walk or drive for great swimming.
The Neighborhood:
The location of Dreamers 5 acre property is pretty great as it is only a few minutes walk to cafes, restaurants, Post Office, all four local ski shops, Crank-handle Brewery, Tavern, takeaway food and coffee (fish n chips, pizza, hamburgers) and beautiful river and lake walks and did I mention no hills!
It’s all on one easy level to walk or cycle for adults and kids.
Getting Around:
Getting to Mt Beauty: Your own vehicle is the easiest option especially to drive up and down the mountain to Falls Creek ski resort but there is Falls Creek Coaches which offer a Melbourne, Albury and Falls Creek service during the winter ski season and the depot for Mt Beauty is located across the road from us here at Dreamers.
Other Things to Note:
If you are a coffee lover there is a coffee machine provided.
If you prefer a commercially made coffee, next door (a 1 minute walk) is Rocky Valley Ski Centre and cafe where you can also purchase a great coffee.
There are quite a few other cafe options very close by for coffee, breakfast or lunch.
Local restaurants and hotels are located close by (most within walking distance) in Mt Beauty, Tawonga South and Tawonga.
A quick search of them with give you plenty of details and of course you will need to make a reservation.

We do not have a reception but after making your reservation we will email your arrival details so you can go directly to your accommodation.

So many quirky but lovely features. Our family relaxed and enjoyed the facilities and found the property to be a great secure location for our weekend away.
The garden room had us feeling like lizards in an enclosure, we loved it!!
We slept SO well on beautiful linen and the kids loved the piano and hot tub! The pool area was gorgeous and an easy walk to a lovely cafe too! 10/10, would love to go back ❤️❤️
Wonderful relaxing holiday, everything was catered for thank you for making our Christmas vacation so relaxing . Property, staff and local town was wonderful there is a river up the roads that have little rapids on a crystal river 👌 👏 😍
Immediately lovely impression. Eclectic, stylish, large apartment. Luxurious stay for cyclists, with a pool to cool off in on-site! Plenty of space for the dog to play in a fenced yard and the commercial coffee machine was a real treat! A lucky find - will be back ASAP!
