Very much enjoyed the location, quiet and privacy of this condo. Pleasant stay all around and a very good value compared to other units in the resort. Kitchen was well stocked.
Minor issues: no ironing board in unit; the patio had not been swept and everything was covered in spider webs; the washer & dryer are not in the unit - there is a community laundry room with pay-for-service machines. Also, the jetted tubs were (according to a notice left in the unit) out of order.
As for the resort itself - allow at least double the time required to have the valet retrieve the car.
This is a beautiful unit with great amenities. The owner is good to work with. It is a ski in, ski out unit off of "double cabin" ski run. Had to walk 100 feet from building to ski run. There is what I consider to be a deficiency with the master suit heat. My engineering mind says the radiant heater (only in the master suit) is severely undersized for cold weather. Because the unit is an end unit, it has a larger surface area of exterior walls. The master bathroom is even further away from the heater and therefor cold. The owner did bring a portable heater which did improve the bedroom temps to a comfortable level. Exterior night time temps were 5-15 degrees for our 5 night visit.
Had a great time staying here in Telluride. Grocery store is steps away so we were able to stock up the moment we got into town, as is the free gondola which the kids loved and takes you to mountain village and into town.
This unit is on the bottom floor so no need to take stairs or wait for an elevator. Guests in the upstairs unit were a little noisy with their footsteps two of the nights, but I think it was just children running around having a good time.
Had a little trouble with the living room TV during our stay - was able to access cable channels in the bedroom but not the living room for some reason; could only cast from our devices which froze up constantly. Not a huge deal considering we were mostly out and about and not watching TV, but with a 2 and 4 year old sometimes you need a distraction during down time. Probably just user error.
Overall the location and price were hard to beat for a 2 BR unit. Mountain Lodge staff was friendly, and Luke was a very responsive host and runs a solid operation.
