Private Ranch House Resort

In the Heart of SLO Wine Country and only 15 Minutes to the Beach. This property is a 5 acre estate. The house is expansive and is divided into two suites. There is a master suite with king size bed. The master suite has spa access just outside the bedroom door. The master suite has its own laundry, full kitchen with oven, open dining room, large living room with wood burning fireplace. Outside of the living room is a patio area with a fire pit, and gated swimming pool complete with diving board. The guest suite has two bedrooms, one large bathroom, a living room, and kitchenette. The first bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a twin bed. The living room has flat screen Satelite TV and futon sofa bed. The kitchenette has a sink, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker and induction plate. Both suites have access to a fenced yard and patio with outdoor pool, barbeque and fire pit.

This house is in a great area. We loved the spacious kitchen it is perfect for family gatherings. The bedrooms are all very nice. We spent a lot of time around the pool it was such a lovely setting. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. If ever in the area again would differently stay here again.

California Wine Country Dreamin'

This was a beautiful, large house with pool and hot tube. It was clean and "high end". We loved it. We're not wine drinkers but the area had plenty to do. We went whale watching, deep sea fishing (in nearby Morro Bay), and golfed at the Hunter Ranch GC. A very good week with family.

Excellent Property

We had an excellent stay- the house and property are spectacular. The large rooms/ living room provided us with areas for playing games and having dinner together while at the property. The house is stocked with linens, towels and kitchen supplies, truly don’t need to bring in a lot of stuff like you do at other places. We wish we were there during summer months to enjoy the pool area more, but utilized it for cold plunges and loved it. Would highly recommend this property to anyone! Tina was very communicative and flexible with us. Thank you for such an enjoyable trip!

Great location in Templeton

My wife and I stayed for a month and had a fantastic time. We had planned for 6 guests but other priorities prevailed. The home is comfortable and well-appointed but the real plus is the outside space. The patio and the pool area were exceptional. We are not from California and very much enjoyed seeing all the different plants on the property including the redwoods! The location is convenient to all that Atascadero offers and it was less than 30 minutes to the beach or an interesting vineyard. Tina is a responsive host and whatever we ran into we were able to resolve quickly.

Wonderful Getaway

We had a great time. The layout of the house was perfect both for hanging out as a group, or getting some solo space. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We spent most of our time poolside, playing games, reading, listening to music, bbqing. Loved it.

Fantastic House

We enjoyed our family vacation at The Ranch. It’s definitely a 10 out of 10. Extremely well stocked with anything you might need. Plenty of room for everyone inside and outside. The outside has plenty of furniture and sitting areas. The pool was a hit as it was hot. The host was readily available to answer any questions. Would definitely rent this place again.

Ranch House Vacation

A beautiful location that was close to amenities. Easy access from the freeway. The house is on a great property. The pool is amazing. Plenty of room for our family (6 Adults, 3 kids, 2 dogs ) and even more if needed. Pet friendly. We will definitely consider renting again in the future.

Great Family Vacation Spot

You will love The Ranch! It is so much nicer than the pictures. The kitchen has everything you need, the master bedroom is wonderful, plenty of room for a group or family vacation, the two living spaces are perfect for individual needs, and the pool is terrific. There are pool floaties and plenty of seating. Our family had so much fun.

Holiday god times!

My family and I wanted a get away that would allow us to spend quality time together, cooking, playing games, going on hikes, wine tasting and various excursions without the responsibilities of being at our own homes. This was perfect! There was enough space for the six adults to have both together time and alone time. Beautiful property and dog friendly! We would stay there again! Happy New Year!

Great property. 7 "mature" ladies: we really enjoyed our week there. Pool was wonderful. Hot tub had a bit too much chlorine but otherwise the property was impressive. Comfortable beds. Close to stores & great day trips to the coast.

Great family or Group Gathering place

Great location, easy access, very nice covered carport parking, lots of hang out areas indoor and out, comfy beds, beautiful view, close enough to grocery store but far enough out of town, pool area great with kids, fenced in area for a dog, spacious house with separated areas for friends or family, good size kitchen for everyone to gather and help out. Plenty of linens, towels and kitchen stuff. Great outdoor lighting. We mostly just hung out, played games, brought in meals to keep things easy, took naps, read, lived outback by the pool even when a bit overcast,, hiked up to the green tower daily for a view, watched some Dish TV cartoons with the kids and felt totally relaxed!! Great house for a group to relax

Our group of 4 adults and 2 children had a fantastic, relaxing time. The house is spacious and there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out, so everyone gets the downtime they want. We enjoyed the pool, the hot tub and having a lovely spot to eat outdoors and have a fire at night. It really is a lovely spot, secluded but not too far away. Highly recommended!

The Ranch in Templeton

Overall, this was a positive experience but a few items prevent me from rating this a 5-star experience. Positives: layout of the home is perfect for giving large groups plenty of space. Beautiful setting in the country but with easy access to groceries, the beach, Paso Robles, etc. Appreciated the host's willingness to allow for a second pet. Fully stocked kitchen. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Negatives: host seems to nickel and dime you as requests are made. House needs to be updated, small maintenance items need to be addressed, and the house needs to be cleaned more thoroughly between guests. It is unacceptable to find as many cobwebs in and outside the home as we did. Charging for "day guests" is a ridiculous policy. Making guests feel guilty for turning on the air after walking into an incredibly warm house that should have been made more comfortable for guest arrival. Not divulging the property is on a well and that we would need to purchase bottled waters for our stay until just before we arrived.

Family Fun in Atascadero
