Dilys is well situated between Tenby, Pembroke and the surrounding area. The owner is lovely. The cottage itself could do with subtle changes. It needs updating and a good dust. The Wi-Fi was hit and miss, with more miss than hit.The lounge/living room windows sound like someoneâs playing an accordion when the wind blows, but itâs cosy and warm, with a powerful upstairs shower. However no details on how to leave the property when itâs time to leave.
A lovely setting perfect for children the garden was a godsend it was secure and safe for toddlers
The cleanliness of the cottage was let down by the presence of dead flies , as we cleaned them up more would appear to the amusejent of the children counting the dead flies...a mop and bucket woukd also have been helpful so guests could mop the floors daily as the cottage is on a farm.
We would return despite the cottage having a fly issue. I would suggest that guests bring cleaning products as there are not sufficient provided as is usually the case. The hoover was also full of dead flies and smelt it was rancid so I cleaned it out rather than use it in the state we found it in .
