Romantic Secluded Cabin For Two

Check out the drone video on YouTube - search "175 Looper Branch Lane, Monterey". This property - "Two's Company" - is the cabin right on the water.

The only dwelling nestled on the banks of a one and a half acre private lake, this romantic one room suite, one bath cabin is all wood inside and out. It includes a king-size bed with a two-person heart-shaped Jacuzzi beside it.

A gas fireplace is in the cozy living room and it has a fully equipped kitchen. From the porch you can walk straight down to the dock or to the grill on the other side.

As soon as you turn in the winding country road tightly hemmed by evergreens, you will begin to feel the difference in atmosphere. You have come apart from the rest of the world and this time is just for you.

Surrounding this Tennessee cabin rental is the small community of Muddy Pond on The Cumberland Plateau. Located just ten miles north of I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville, you can rendezvous for several days of refreshment, or spend your whole vacation here while exploring the beauty of the Cumberland.


Reasons You Should Come:
At the Cabin: Sitting on the porch rockers playing checkers or watching the birds, relaxing on the swing enjoying the beautiful view, walking down quiet lanes holding hands and talking, reading good books, fishing.
In the Community: Shopping at unique stores, sightseeing while leisurely driving the backroads, eating someone else's cooking, watching the sorghum growing in the fields or being cooked in the fall. Farther Away: Beautiful scenery which includes Big South Fork, offering: Horseback Riding, Fishing, White Water Rafting and Hiking; Fall Creek Falls, Picket and Cumberland State Parks have: Scenic Trails, Swimming and Boating; Local Wineries, Historic Sights of the Cordell Hull birthplace, Alvin York home place and historic Rugby are nearby.

Beautiful hidden place. Had a good time with plenty of peace and quiet. The only complaint I have is that the water was still to cold in the lake and the fish wasn’t biting. Definitely recommend the homemade doughnuts and the jalapeño cheddar sourdough at the country porch store. Thanks!

We love this cabin! Such a cozy, peaceful place. Feels so remote, tucked away in beautiful woods with almost no noise other than the leaves rustling on the trees. The cabin has such a comfy and homey atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to rest and enjoy nature! Also, there are several local stores and shops not far that have great homemade and handcrafted products.

Deck and steps have black mold on them! That makes them very slippery when it rains! They need to be pressure washed and restrained and the rotten wood replaced. It’s a shame that We pay 250 a night and have to put up with the mold and rotting wood ! We enjoyed our stay other than that!

Absolutely breathtaking views and amazing wildlife! This little hidden gem offers everything you could ask for out of a getaway! We had no problems with finding the place, but it is definitely a one car road so be mindful of those directions! It got cool on us a couple nights while we were there, we wished we could've used the fireplace in the living room but we didn't. Overall an absolutely amazing experience! Looking to be able to bring our family out!
