Apartment was as shown in listing. Furnishings were adequate. Location was convenient for purpose of our trip. Area of suggested improvement: shower floor tile and shower curtain & liner need cleaning. Also, a washable bath mat would be more sanitary than a rug.

I had stayed here a year ago and it was fine. This year, again the bed was so soft that it was difficult to roll over, but the big change was the barking dogs late into the night and again both nights around 4 am. I put in ear plugs but still couldn't get rid of the noise of the barking. Since this house is in an alley and the dogs were almost immediately across the alley in another home's back yard, the barking was ridiculous. I realize the owner of this property can't control others' dogs, but I thought that others should be aware of the possibility.

Excellent!

Fantastic VRBO with everything you could need. The home is spacious, comfortable, and clean. The neighborhood is quiet with no road traffic or excess noise. The yard behind the house was super convenient for our dogs to potty and play. The property manager provided check-in and parking information. We're grateful for a comfortable place to rest after a long cross-country drive and another long day ahead. Thank you!

It sucked

Host had no idea how to upgrade your stay for another night after emailing him and conferring on the phone about an 1 day extension which he said he did not remember talking to me this was my first B-B experience and doubtful I will do another I will say apartment was clean but experience a -10 after all the poor communication I was called out of a meeting asking why I had not checked out by 11 am so after this rude eviction I am at Drury Inn for the night witch I kick myself for not staying the whole weekend

A WONDERFUL PLACE TO REST AFTER A LONG DAY OF DRIVING

The property was just as listed, and there were no surprises. The host was quick to respond to our questions and inquiries. The cottage is behind the main house (communicated to us in advance) and has to be accessed from a back street (this was not communicated and took a moment of problem-solving, thus a rating of 4. However, it was not a deal breaker). We could park right at the cottage's front door from the back street, which benefited my husband's back. The location was further from the interstate than ideal (a rating of 4) but worth the 10-minute drive compared to a hotel. We were thankful that it was pet-friendly and that our pup slept as well as we did. We would recommend this cottage and would stay again.

Convenient, all as pictured

Stayed here for two nights, no problems other than finding it at night. Kitchen was nice to have. Bed was really soft but that's just personal preference. Quiet but barking dogs in the morning! Booked again for 2025 visit.

Cute, comfy, and cozy home away from home. Very spacious and accommodating (especially for two people), private small house, pet friendly. Tried to book again in the next couple weeks for fall color peeping but, not surprisingly, this was already booked. It’s a little gem at a very reasonable price. Five out of five stars all the way around!

We did not get the email with the code to get in the house. Was on the phone for more than an hour, multiple phone calls, outside the place trying to get in. Didn't get in until 7:30 pm. The house is very nice. Perfect for two people. I will never use VRBO again which was accessed through Expedia. Will stay in a named hotel.

We did not receive check-in information either time and I had to contact VRBO. All the neighbors are loud and so is the train. We stayed overnight twice as a pit stop.
