Stunning building, beautifully decorated. Great location, right on the high street. Well equipped room. Firm mattress (perfect for us) but pillows were quite hard. Breakfast service was slow, full English was tasty, but could have been hotter, good continental choices, but tea was really weak (1 teabag in a full teapot!! ) All in all, a lovely stay, staff were friendly & we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful bedroom with four poster bed, that was super comfortable. The room was lovely and large. The bathroom had bath tub and shower, and was very clean with lovely toiletries. We stayed in room 101 and would definitely stay again.

Our 5th stay here. It seems to deteriorate a little each time. Cleanliness of the rooms is not perfect. No shelving in the bathroom to store anything . Staff appear disinterested in customers.

Lovely friendly staff - even gave us an upgrade. Room was spacious with big bed (pillows were uncomfortable though). Room quite hot (in Dec) even with fan and the one opening window. Nice bar area - didn’t have breakfast. Car parking fine. Easy stroll around the town.

The hotel itself was fine for a older type building our room was like a sauna permanently which made sleeping very difficult although the matenence man tried to change it this was wthoutthe radiator being on in the room
