Absolutely amazing, we were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of this gorgeous place. It was so clean with all the amenities you could want for a short stay with the most spectacular views. The balcony, lounge and upstairs bedroom all provided uninterrupted views of the gorgeous landscape and ocean. You are not overlooked and very private. It was spotlessly clean and Alby the owner is so friendly and welcoming and there if you need him. We only booked 2 nights due to travelling round New Zealand but so wish we had stayed longer. We could not recommend this place higher and would give 10 stars if we could.

The incredible views and warm and welcoming proprietors really stood out. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. We arrived rather late and only stayed one night, so we didn't avail ourselves of all they had to offer (e.g., cold pool, hot tub and breakfast). But we would gladly stay there again.

A lovely warm welcome from Alby, shown to a beautiful chalet with panoramic views. There is a comfortable lounge/kitchen area, with a double bed on the first floor. 1 hour drive to the east coast and fortunately the weather has suddenly changed to full sun shine. We have decided to stay for 2 more nights.

Stunning views! Lovely apartment, nice kitchen area, very comfy bed. NO wardrobe or drawers. Just a slightly bent kitchen-style towel hanger with 3 hangers.What a shame. Also guests need to be fit and healthy. Loads of awkward woden steps. Don't recall being warned about this. We managed, just!

Lovely cottage very eclectic like being in a fairytale Studio compact but had everything you needed , shower was very good clean towels provided every day . The view was amazing you had a private balcony looking over the Thames estuary . Sun sets were beautiful . Altogether we had a resting 4 nights away

The view from the Rose Room was amazing — it overlooked a beautiful scenery and was very peaceful. However, the cleanliness needs improvement. The ceiling had a lot of spider webs, and I found a big cockroach on the floor. I also woke up with several bug bites, which made the stay uncomfortable.

Advertised that we would have milk and fresh baked goods on arrival. Got the milk and 4 packet biscuits. A nightly liqueur was promised and did get that either. The website says have a bbq near the pool. We planned that and when arrived the pool was half full and didn’t look like it had been maintained for years. Wouldn’t use the bbq to cook my dogs food. Then had to use the inside oven which did not work properly. The units and surrounds have not been looked after. The patio is falling down. Not sure why these people have got good reviews. A real scam.
