Tiny House by the water in Oud Ade | Tuin van Keet - 24
Summary:
Tuin van Keet - 24 is a cabin for four people in Oud Ade. It is situated by the water with views of the woods, and is flooded with light thanks to its large windows. The Tiny House is situated in the small-scale park De Tuin van Keet, in a green and water-rich part of the Randstad.
The Space:
Inside the Tiny House, the indoor and outdoor spaces blend seamlessly. The open-plan kitchen is compact yet fully equipped, featuring a coffee machine, cookware, crockery, a dishwasher, a freezer and an oven; you can pull up a chair at the dining table for breakfast or a long evening meal whilst looking out onto the surroundings.
There are two bedrooms. In the master bedroom, the large windows and sliding door provide direct access to the outdoors: you can step straight onto the decking by the water and look out over the greenery and the water. This room also offers plenty of storage space. The second bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed.
The cabin has one bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided. For a quick wash, you can use the washing machine in the communal area. Air conditioning keeps the interior comfortable on warm days. For the children, there is a high chair and a cot with a mattress.
Outside, a terrace awaits, bathed in sunshine all day long. There is a picnic table for your morning coffee and two wooden chairs to settle into at the end of the day, with the water within easy reach from the deck. The garden is fenced in.
Please note that Tuin van Keet is a newly developed park. The park is largely completed and already offers a wonderful place to relax, surrounded by nature. As all greenery has been recently planted, the park will continue to become even greener, fuller, and more beautiful over time.
During your stay, feel free to enjoy the parkâs shared facilities, including the communal space, natural playground, panna field, fire pit, BBQ area, vegetable garden, and picking garden. This way, you can fully experience the outdoor lifestyle and relaxed atmosphere of Tuin van Keet.
Guest Access:

The spaces next to the homes are for loading and unloading only. You can store your bike at the accommodation. Pets are not allowed. The Neighborhood:
Youâll be staying in Oud Ade, a village in South Holland within the municipality of Kaag en Braassem. Itâs a water-rich region with lakes, canals and polders. From here, you can take to the water at the Kagerplassen or the Braassemermeer, ideal for sailing, stand-up paddleboarding or a trip in a sloop. Prefer to stay on dry land? Then walk or cycle along quiet dykes and polder roads towards Warmond and Kaageiland. Katwijk beach is a 20-minute drive away.
Places worth visiting include Leiden with its historic centre, around 8 km away. Warmond is approximately 4 km away, Kaageiland 6 km and Roelofarendsveen about 7 km.
Other Things to Note:
For an afternoon on the water, take the small ferry in Buitenkaag to Kaageiland. Stroll along the quays and take a seat at Tante Kee on the Julianalaan for lunch or dinner with views over the Kagerplassen.
In spring, Keukenhof in Lisse is a short drive away. Go at opening time to enjoy the flower fields and themed gardens in peace, then walk through the adjacent Keukenhofbos.
Craving culture? In Leiden, Museum De Lakenhal awaits with art and Leiden history. Combine it with a walk along the Rapenburg and through the Pieterswijk.
