Beautifully restored 2 bedroom house with private pool and barbecue.

This traditional 2 storey stone house has been completely renovated in 2018 and offers its guests a very spacious, elegant and typically French accommodation in the heart of the wine region of Bergerac in southwestern France. It is located in its own 1 acre private garden, surrounded by vineyards on all sides and only 5 km from shops and restaurants.

The house is equipped with an open kitchen, dining room and living room on the ground floor, as well as downstairs toilets, a laundry room and a large storage room. Upstairs we have 2 large bedrooms and a family shower room. Outside the house, we have outdoor dining with built-in BBQ for outdoor dining, an above ground pool, deck, shaded areas, hammock and 1 acre of private gardens. On the three sides of the house you can see vineyards and hills, with the nearest property behind the house which is Chateau Rudelle, a traditional working vineyard. The house is extremely well positioned for exploring local villages and towns, being very centrally located between Eymet, Sigoules, Loubès Bernac, Sainte Foy la Grande, Duras and Bergerac. There are many hiking and biking trails around the house and surrounding area, including the pretty village of Puyguilhem 1km away, with wonderful views of the surrounding area and picnic benches for your enjoyment.

The kitchen / diner is equipped with everything you need, including an electric cooker, a fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher and chairs for 6 people. The living room has a large leather sofa. channels and a DVD player. At the heart of this room is a wood stove. There is also a downstairs toilet, and a washing machine in the laundry room. The front garden offers an additional dining area for 6, including a built-in barbecue. The two spacious bedrooms are located on the first floor, with the family shower room containing a shower, toilet and sink.

The house is a fantastic base to explore with children and for their safety we have a fully fenced front garden and removable steps in the pool. We also provide various facilities for free, including cot, high chair, toys, DVDs, etc. We also offer a selection of board games for all ages.

The private swimming pool (open from mid-April to the end of October depending on the weather) is located in the front garden and is directly next to the shaded dining room, sunbathing area and barbecue.

It should be noted that there is complete electric heating with a wood burning stove, making it the perfect property for off-season stays, including Christmas and New Year.

All linen and towels are included in the price. We also provide pool towels, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, charcoal for barbecues and wood for stoves.

Upon arrival, you will receive our complimentary welcome basket. We will also ensure that the house has enough soap, toilet paper rolls, kitchen cleaning products, washing powder and dishwasher tablets.

Rates include all electricity and newspapers (out of season).

You will also find an information folder with places to see, things to do, local restaurants and markets.

We are located in one of the most beautiful regions of France, surrounded by vineyards, small villages, magnificent castles and areas to explore. Within 5 minutes of the house is the village of Loubes Bernac, which has a shop and restaurant, or 8 minutes to Sigoules where you will find a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, bars, post office, gas station, surgery and a range of other services.

The Buddhist temple of Plum Village is only 2 km from the house, and the wonderful medieval town of Eymet is only 10 minutes drive away where you will find markets, restaurants and places to visit.

Bergerac is just 23 km from the house announces a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars as well as Bergerac airport.
