Cozy apartment located on two levels of a traditional fisherman's house in the village. Was completely restored in spring 2014 with great benefits in the spirit of the old fishing village houses of Lake Geneva ...
Today, the house is charming and very pleasant!
Ideally located on the shores of Lake Geneva with a view of the lake, the rental is just a few minutes from the pontoons and boats of the Thonon-les-Bains marina, in the heart of the historic and cultural site of Rives, a few steps from the beaches. and water sports (sailing, canoeing, water skiing, boat rental, fishing ...) and not far from the spa resort of Thonon waters.
You will have the choice of swimming in the lake: on the lawn side and children's games with the municipal beach at the end of the quays, or on the pebble side and the setting sun on the very pretty shore of the Pinède ... along the pontoons of the Lake Geneva coast.
The house, located in the village of Rives on the hill, is also close to the City Center of Thonon-les-Bains, accessible in a few minutes on foot by going up and located just at the top of the funicular.
In the apartment, a south-west facing balcony allows meals at all times and dinners facing the sunset, outside on the Savoyard wooden balcony.
With pleasant moments during the day to take sunny breaks!

Très déçue de ce logement car il ne correspondait pas à la description de l'annonce. L'hôte a été de mauvaise foie sur le sujet en essayant de donner des explications mais sans rien remettre en cause. Toilettes cassées, pas de wifi, pas de jardin, pas de barbecue, pas de climatisation, pas de cour de tennis, pas 1,5 salle de bain (mais 1 salle de bain), pas de baignoire, pas de salle à manger séparée…Pour la cuisine, les plaques électriques ne fonctionnent pas, il y a juste une plaque de camping qui fonctionne mal (voir les photos). Je ne comprends pas pourquoi les gens ne font pas correctement les annonces, si j'avais eu la bonne description j'aurais moins été surprise. Le ménage n’avait pas été correctement fait à l’arrivée (poussières, tables collantes, taches...). La douche est très sale. L'eau coule très mal dans la douche et les robinets. La localisation est super et si j'avais eu une description différente, j'aurai plus apprécié mon séjour. J'aurais aimé aussi que l'hôte reconnaisse les choses au lieu de m'expliquer qu'un pot de fleur est un jardin ou que c'est pas grave si les toilettes sont cassées. D'anciens locataires sont d'ailleurs venu pendant notre séjour en voulant récupérer des affaires que l'hôte n'aurait pas permis de reprendre....J'attends toujours le retour de Abritel sur cette situation, le dossier de réclamation est ouvert depuis septembre...

Séjour inoubliable en Lémanie

Super séjour en couple dans cette petite maison bien équipée idéalement située à proximité du Lac et de l'embarcadère dans le charmant quartier des pêcheurs de Rives. A mi-parcours aussi du centre ville où on trouve tous les commerces. Le temps idéal nous a permis de profiter au maximum du balcon et de sa vue.

zum Wiederkommen!

Waren jetzt zum 2. Mal da - und wieder begeistert. Wunderbar der Balkonessplatz, wo man auch bei Regen mit Blick auf See und Jura seine Mahlzeiten einnehmen kann. (Neuentdeckung/Tip 2019: Château de Ripaille - ein Beispiel moderner Innenarchitektur um 1900, sehenswert!)

Tolle Ferien am Lac Léman

Die Wohnung von Corinne hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung liegt zwischen Hafen und Ortszentrum (es geht steil rauf und runter, ist aber nicht weit). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind nahe. Die Anlegestelle der Kursschiffe ist ebenfalls in der Nähe. Zum öffentlichen Bad und zum natürlichen Kiesstrand ist es etwas weiter (15-20 Min.), aber man kann gut im Schatten gehen. Der Kiesstrand hat uns gut gefallen, da es schnell tiefer wird und man Schwimmen kann. Wassersportangebote hat es ebenfalls gleich vor Ort. In der Wohnung hat es zwei Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten im oberen Stock, die gut und bequem zum Schlafen waren. Uns hat ein zweiter Ventilator gefehlt, da es in der Nacht trotz offenem Fenster recht heiss war. Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet und es hat praktisch an nichts gefehlt. Der Balkon hat eine schöne Aussicht und man kann auch Wäsche aufhängen. Zu viert ist es am Tisch auf dem Balkon eng, mit Kindern reicht der Platz aber. Dusche/WC ist knapp bemessen, aber es ist alles vorhanden. Sehr positiv aufgefallen ist uns auch, dass es überall verschiedene Haken zum Aufhängen hat. Am Ende wird erwartet, dass man die Wohnung reinigt (oder alternativ die Reinigung bezahlt). Zum Aus- und Einladen kann man mit dem Auto vorfahren, danach muss man in Richtung Kiesstrand das Auto in der weissen Zone parkieren (10 Min. zu Fuss). Wir können die Wohnung von Corinne also empfehlen und würden auch wieder hingehen.

Schöne Ferienwohnung in gemütlichem alten Haus. 2 Min. zu Fuss vom See und entspannter Promenade mit Restaurants. Balkon-Essplatz mit Blick auf See und Jura-Berge. Zum Schwimmen vom baumbestandenend Kiesstrand aus gut 20 Min. Fussweg. Schöne Wandermöglichkeiten in den Bergen, allerdings immer Autoanfahrt (mind. 20 Min.) erforderlich. - Steile Holztreppe zu den Schlafräumen (Kindersichererung zumindest für einen Raum vorhanden).

Maison charmante dans quartier pittoresque

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans cette location coquette, décorée avec goût, dans l'ancien quartier des pêcheurs. A pied, le port est à 5mn, tout comme le centre-ville: attention, ça grimpe... mais le funiculaire n'est pas loin! Du balcon, vue sur le soleil couchant, les toits et le Léman... Superbe...La région est fantastique, entre lac et montagne, les activités sont nombreuses. A savoir: la location n'a pas de parking et les places sont (parfois) difficiles à trouver. Mais une fois garé, quel plaisir de remonter tranquillement à la maison, en longeant le lac et en passant par le port! Pour finir, l'accueil de Corinne est très sympathique, et il lui tient à coeur que ses hôtes passent de belles vacances: c'est ce que nous avons fait! Merci et à bientôt!

Pretty French house

This is a small property decorated in a very French style with plenty of additional bowls, cutlery, kitchen equipment etc used by the owner. It's an old property and the staircase is steep- we came down backwards for safety. The location is fantastic, half way between the main town on Thonon on the hill and the port of Rives by the lake. It's 5 to 10 mins walk to each of them but the hill is very steep. The whole area is very beautiful with views of the lakes and mountains. There is a pay beach for swimming but we walked beyond that and could get access to the lakeside. The weather was very hot and we swam in the lake several times.
