Affordable Ski Luxury - Thredbo Australia

Talgara 3 is a three Storey Chalet with premium quality inclusions, located in the Woodridge area, it is a short stroll to Friday Flat. Bedroom on the ground floor with large loft, kitchen, two bathrooms and lounge area, balcony with BBQ. This area is great for beginners and kids, and it has a great quad chairlift to get you up the slopes for intermediate and advanced skiers. The Chalet has filtered views of the Mountain and Thredbo Village.

The chalet is a free-standing structure (rare in Thredbo), which means it does not share a common wall with another property and therefore has reduced noise and disturbances. It also has allocated parking for at least 2 cars.

Talgara 3 is made of local stone and timber with modern inclusions (see pictures). It boasts deluxe accommodation and features such as 3 TVs, video, Apple TV, DVD sound bar, leather lounges, slow combustion fire, dry room, ski storage room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, plus lots of other amenities.

The property has been recently renovated with new floor in the kitchen and dining room area, new external sliding doors and new electric cook top.

Property sleeps 2 people, please contact owner for sleeping arrangements.

Quiet, clean and walking distance to everything

We loved staying here, close to Friday Flat and a short walk to Valley terminal walking past the bobsled on the way. And a 1 minute walk to the Thredbo Lesuire Centre. The house is clean, well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us

Perfect Location

Fantastic holiday home located perfectly within Threadbo village. Right across from the aquatic centre and an easy flat bike ride to the village square. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped with utensils and crockery. Such an amazing location. .

Great location, good accommodation

This property is pretty cool, we were very excited when we arrived. It could have been cleaner, cobwebs hanging from fan and lights, toilet bowls needed a freshen up and there were no dishwasher tablets. But we still enjoyed the stay … the location was convenient and the accommodation was comfortable.

This property was great for a family trip to the snow. So close to Friday Flats and the chairlifts. Parking for 2 cars right out front and super close to shuttle bus stop to get around. So lovely to be able to spread out across the different levels of the house. Plus, added bonus of a proper drying room and laundry for our ski and snowboarding equipment.

Fantastic chalet for family snow holiday

This is our third year staying in this chalet for our family ski trip. It’s a great location easy short walking to Friday flat with ski gear. Also easy walk to the village/gondola/alpine coaster etc. Very comfortable, warm, great fireplace, good kitchen and very useful drying room with washer/dryer. Kids love the loft bedrooms. Hosts are lovely. Will return.

Communication from the host was amazing. Anna was very responsive. The check in was seamless. The location is great and the chalet suited our needs for a weekend away MTB riding with friends. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed for our family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 13.

Fantastic family chalet close to Friday Flat

Great place to stay for our family snow trip. Easy walk to Friday flat with our kids. Very comfortable accomodation. Warm, clean, good kitchen, easy check in, firebox well stocked with wood which was great. Our kids are ages 9 & 7yo. Our children loves the loft bedroom but Maybe would be difficult with younger children as is loft with stairs and loft bedroom for the kids. We look forward to returning, even in summer time this would be a good place to stay for hiking.

Just wonderful

An impeccable clean little chalet in an unbeatable location. Just a short stroll to Friday Flats or you could take the bus a few steps from the house to the gondola. The photos don’t do it justice. There was plenty of space for everyone, my teenage kids loved the loft to themselves! The drying room and heated laundry were really handy. We’ll be back!

Wonderful location and house

This is our second visit and just as impressed as last time. Perfect location and facilities. The house is well laid out, clean and spacious. Only thing to consider is the configuration of bedding in the upstairs room. It is now two double bed sofas and a single bed sofa so you’ll need to think about who is sharing with who if there are four people up there.

Fantastic location and size!

Huge 3 storey accommodation for our family of 4. The photos don't do it justice it was just brilliant with fantastic veiws. You can walk to the slopes so close but was good to have Bus stop right out front after a long day of skiing. Also kids loved going in the pool and waterside across the road. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend!
