Staff are incredibly nice and our stay was wonderful! The setting is beautiful and peaceful; excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts and joining with nature. The description of Silver City should be updated on Hotels.com to more accurately describe the accommodations, however. This is an extremely remote and rustic place and anyone that has a serious medical condition or physical limitations should speak with staff directly before booking to ensure they understand where they are going. A reliable car is also essential to make it up the mountain.
Leider schlieĂt Restaurant sehr frĂŒh, Burger okay, Pancakes sehr lecker.
Ansonsten Zimmer sehr sauber und neu, aber sehr klein. Fön hab es nur auf Nachfrage.
Beautiful unique place in the middle of Sequoia National Park.
90 minutes ride up to the mountains 7500 feet.
Very nice people working in this little 10 house resort.
If you like the quiet this is where you go.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Rock Cabin! Falling asleep to the sound of water and crickets was really wonderful. The restaurant was amazing! We especially loved having pie each morning with our coffee. Speaking of coffee, we loved walking into the cabin and seeing complementary local coffee, waiting for us. I also want to leave a little note that the road up to the cabin was pretty intense and a little scary at partsâŠBut if you take your time, itâll be worth the drive!
Please make sure you understand that this property is a hour drive from the highway on a barely improved road. Arriving after dark is not advised. Other than that was a nice place with a good quality restaurant. I do not recommend for staying there to visit the national park, but does work well as a destination stay.
I can honestly say I've never stayed in a cabin without a restroom or electricity and I heated it with the wood they provided which was very funlight were propane lights, lit with a match. However the drive up and down the Mt. Was at the least, not for the faint of heart...very rough on my car.
This location is extremely remote which I think is the point. The staff is incredible, the property was great and the food was delicious. Completely blown away by how great this was. Local hiking trails a mere 10 mins away.
The room smelled like urine in the master bedroom. Did not know the front desk maned only until 5pm. They left all the info on the door. With this day and age of identity theft what kind security is that? I will never come back
