One of the better APAs as the facility is clean and neat (but of course small). Literally located right outside of train station exits, and within 5 mins you can get to the central of Asakusa. Easy transfer from and to both Narita and Haneda airports. They also have baggage storage service for guest - extremely convenient for check-in / check-out days. Will absolutely stay here again if I was to stay in Tokyo.

Perfect Tourist Hotel

It's Japan- the rooms are compact ! But, it was everything we needed . Many extras, comfortable bed, extra clean, literally 10 meters from the subway ( one train ride from Narita with no transfers !), and a Family Mart right next door. Walking distance to Sensoji Temple, Asahi Beer factory, and 20 min walk to Tokyo Skytree !

The location was great, everything was near. When you get off the station the hotel is just right there and it’s beside Family Mart. The walk to the river side and the Senso-Ji Temple was not far.

The room is tiny. Okay for one person but tight for two. Booked 2 rooms for a couple and myself. The rooms are cleaned every 3 days but with daily supply of fresh towels and yukata (kimono), coffee/tea refills which was nice. There was day 1 complimentary water bottles and their tap is noted as ‘drinkable’. The check-in is a bit complicated. It took sometime to check-in with the male staff not very pleasant. My card key and receipt eventually came out of the machine and I was asked to take it. No mention that the room number is on the receipt, I had to ask instead of me being informed. All hotel instructions are on the TV screen as one enters the room. Again, there was lack of information at the reception level that we were to expect this. The hotel reception area is so tiny, with only 3 chairs available for guests. We checked out at 10am after 6 nights and we left our luggage for storage and came back at 2pm for our airport pickup at 3pm. The female staff on check out was very nice this time compared to the aloof check-in male receptionist. When we came back, we stood for almost an hour as there were no seats. The area was full to the brim including numerous luggage. Otherwise, very close to train station exit, restaurants, Sensoji temple and shopping streets. Tokyo sky tree is also close by.

Reasonable accommodation

As expected. Rooms are smallish, but pricing is key. Reasonable accomodation in an expensive city, but I only need the room to sleep. It might not for everyone, but I travel light and have no problems storing my luggage.

I booked a stay with breakfast included, but unfortunately, my husband and son got sick during our visit and couldn’t go down to eat. When I asked if I could take the food to our room, I was told it wasn’t allowed, so we couldn’t use the breakfast at all. Based on this experience, I would suggest to future guests not to include breakfast when booking. There are often better meal options outside the hotel, and if needed, you can always pay for breakfast later. This situation left me disappointed and was a key factor in making my stay less enjoyable.
