"People had warned us not to expect too much from the Toronto hotels during the World Cup, except for high prices, so we were thrilled to arrive at the hotel and receive an upgrade to a small suite. Our room was lovely, with a really comfortable king size bed, and views of both Lake Ontario, and the city. The staff were so great and responsive at all times. We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. Everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance, and a tram ran right outside the hotel if you wanted to venture further, like to the Kensington Market, for example. As we only had two full action packed days, we were unable to try this, but there’s always the next time! We ate a late lunch there one day and took advantage of the Happy Hour specials. All were delicious."
