Cleanliness Lacking
When I booked, there were no other reviews, but I decided to take a chance. Closer to my stay I read the reviews that were from recent stays, and I came in ready with cleaning supplies to clean before my family could comfortably stay. We had to wash all of the bedding because many rooms seemed to have sheets that had not been changed. the bathrooms had stuff in the toilets and looked like they hadn’t been wiped down thoroughly or swept. Once we cleaned up, we were comfortable enough for our stay. We mostly ate out because we didn’t want to use the stuff in the kitchen. The location and neighborhood is great, right across from a park. We contacted the owner to let them know and all we got was an apology for the cleaning service not doing there job. Just be prepared to clean before you can comfortably stay.

The description was very accurate, all the amenities worked as listed. The BIG Miss on this property is the lack of cleanliness. The floors were dirty, the bathroom sinks has old toothpaste residue. The mirrors in the bathrooms had splatter from previous visitors. It is too bad as the house is very good and lives up to the description but when you see all the dirt and mess now people do not feel at home or totally comfortable staying in the home. We went out and purchase cleaning supplies to clean up the house to make it more inviting for us. A cardinal rule in the hospitality business, made the accommodations so it looks like you are the first ones using the facility. This house did not meet that standard by a very long shot.

Good but not great
Initially property looked good. After a closer look it was clear the property was not as clean as what was reported. Three guys, we overlooked alot of stuff. Property was big and lots of room and amenities. Had to push for more toilet paper and in fact I ordered toilet paper to be delivered before owner told me how to get into storage closet with a code. It was adequate but for the money, could have been better.
