This project began with the purchase of a traditional Cantabria house built entirely of stone and wood around 1900.

At the time of purchase the building was practically in a state of ruin and with a lot of work and enthusiasm we got it to be what it is today.

In the rehabilitation we use materials from the area, we reuse the house's own materials and at all times we try to respect the typical architecture of the area.

In the rehabilitation and implementation of this project I invested infinite hours of work and all the illusion of
world; Today I feel proud of the result and I am rewarded the effort for the enjoyment of the people who visit us.

And once the building has been physically reconstructed, I put all the illusion into improving every day details and offering those who visit us the best of me, with the intention that they enjoy this house and this wonderful land that is Cantabria.

1 Studio for 2 people.

It is about 2 buildings. One of them is 1 house for 6 people, with 3 bedrooms and the other building is composed of 2 independent houses, 1 house for 6 people, with 3 bedrooms, 1 house for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms and a small studio with kitchen and bathroom, with capacity for 2 people, which can be rented independently or as an additional room for any of the other houses ..

Each of the houses is independent of the others and has its own entrance and complete equipment in each case.

In case of being a large group, we can make combinations between the different houses, up to a maximum of 18/20 people, since one of the houses has a large living room-kitchen of more than 60 M2 with fireplace and a large table, ideal To enjoy the common moments.

So we can accommodate groups of 8, 10, 12, 16, 18 or 20 people maximum.

We have an organic garden with varied products and chickens so that they can enjoy healthy and fresh products and if they want to also participate in their care, children especially love it. All without any cost.

Outside is the garden and laundry area, as well as easy parking.

Located in Viérnoles, an authentic town, belonging to the municipality of Torrelavega, heart of Cantabria. It is a town with history, as shown by its many mansions with shields carved in stone. Also with tranquility, countryside, animals, silence and at the same time an extraordinary situation, we are in the center of Cantabria, close to everything, we live in tranquility and at the same time we are 3 minutes from the access to the highway or a super-market .

Beaches, natural parks, Santillana del Mar, Santander, Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera, Cabárceno Park, Soplao Cave, Viesgo Bridge Caves, Bárcena Mayor, Cartes, Riocorvo ..., all very close, between 5 and 45 minutes.

Agradable la casa y agradable la anfitriona
La casa estaba preparada con todo detalle para una cómoda estancia. La anfitriona conoce la zona perfectamente y proporcionó toda clase de lindicaciones sobre excursiones y actividades que podrían interesar a nuestro grupo familiar. Además ofreció varios productos gastronómicos de su pueblo o de su huerta. Llevamos casi diez años alquilando casas en distintos puntos de España y del extranjero para disfrutar una semana de vacaciones con la familia alcompleto y esta ha sido una de nuestras mejores experiencias.

Oasis en tiempos de pandemia
Hemos disfrutado de la Casa de Consuelo durante una semana. La casa ha superado nuestras espectativas, habitaciones amplias, con armarios espaciosos y camas supercómodas, algo fundamental para nosotros. Balcón con vistas estupendas y un jardín compartido pero tranquilo, teniendo otro espacio propio a la entrada de nuestra parte de la casa. Tiene dos cuartos de baño completos arriba y un aseo abajo, perfecto para dos familias. El salón cómodo y funcional, con una cocina correcta a la que quizás se podría añadir algunos cubiertos, vasos y copas. La zona muy tranquila en un pueblecito con encanto, justo lo que buscabamos al huir de la ciudad, muy bien situado para recorrer Cantabria, cerca de vías verdes y de la montaña para pasear o correr. Mención aparte para Consuelo, mujer que transmite amor por su tierra, dispuesta en todo momento, que nos facilitó información para visitar rincones menos conocidos. Nos ofreció verduras de su huerto y nos regaló una quesada deliciosa. El único pero, que su casa esté tan lejos de Andalucía....

La casa y la zona son estupendas
Casa muy confortable para estar con niños , jardín y acceso a la calle sin tráfico. Consuelo es una gran anfitriona muy cariñosa y pendiente de todo, tiene una huerta maravillosa en frente de la casa . La zona es estupenda hay muchas actividades para realizar a poca distancia de la casa. Los sobaos espectaculares!!!!

LO QUE ESTÁBAMOS BUSCANDO.
El alojamiento está muy bien, limpio y muy acogedor. En un entorno tranquilo, sin agobio de turistas, en un pueblo típico con unas preciosas casas solariegas. Especialmente agradecidos a la dueña, Consuelo, que ha estado solícita en todo momento y ha sido muy atenta. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo.
