Found nail trimmings by the bed side and someone else’s hair in the bath. Coffee machine has not been cleaned since it was put in by the looks of it.

My kids loved staying here in a wagon. The play area is so nice and the views are unlike any other (I live near Zion so that’s high praise). I think it’s the most fun my kids have had on our frequent road trips throughout Utah. I really appreciate that breakfast at the restaurant was included. It was delicious. I’d definitely eat at the restaurant again as well.

The young woman with piercings at the check in desk was unfriendly, didn’t smile and was just plain miserable. Not the best to have your first contact at a property be full of negative energy. Our waitress was also not very friendly but we enjoyed dinner. Room quality just average like a motel. Great water pressure! If you stay here, go into Capitol Reef (short less than 10 minute drive) after dark to stargaze at Panorama Point. It’s awesome!

Well we had some issues at first....no details here but if you get room #23 ask to see it before accepting it. Let's just say that that room I believe was completely neglected in everyway possible. Having the situation resolved before going to bed, that night would have been preferable. Everything was not addressed fully until I spoke with Brianna in the morning!! Such a helpful, kind, gracious Lady....also the evening Lady was wonderful as well..I believe her name is Dianna. They both deserve a raise they are great ambassadors for Broken Spur. Our stay improved dramatically once the room change was made. The housekeeping staff could do better all the way around. Food was enjoyable restaurant was clean.Staff in the restaurant, including the cook, who came out in the morning where all gracious kind people. Would have liked some fruit with breakfast.;-(

Nice hotel just outside of Capitol Reef

Nice clean hotel with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Particularly liked the long bench in room for storing luggage. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great stay at Broken spur

Everything was great except the breakfast buffet could have more offerings. The view was great and it was very close to Capitol Reef. Bed was comfortable. It was cool sitting by the fire pit near the covered wagons and watching the sunset. Loved the gift shop and found T shirts with “The Mighty 5” logo.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful property. Rooms are perfect for a couple or more. Breakfast was just right, dinner on the property was tasty and satisfying. Also a wonderful place for dark-sky enthusiasts, as well as great sunsets and sunrises. So convenient to Capitol Reef and all that it offers. I travel. This place is a gem.
