Detached villa with private pool in the Torrox countryside

This lovely villa has kitchen and bathroom with spacious living/dining area. At the front of the house there is a built-in BBQ area. Perfect for outdoor cooking/dining. The large terraces are south-west facing, surrounded by fruit and olive trees with beautiful sea and mountain views. A large private swimming pool 7 x 4 meters and 1.35 meters deep, surrounded by 60 sq.m terracotta tiles. This country retreat offers tranquility and privacy. There is a great variety of fantastic country walks with stunning views right on your door step. Also the Tejeda Mountain Range National Park is only 30 minutes away. Ideal for trekking/bird watching etc. A 10 minute drive takes you into Torrox Pueblo a traditional Andalucian village, with winding streets. In the centre of Torrox there is a open square surrounded by orange trees with shops, bars and restaurants. Torrox Costa has long sandy beaches with a wonderful promenade. Torrox with its winter climate offers marvellous holidays through the entire year. A high wheelbase car is recommend for staying at this villa. The track is mostly concrete for 700 metres, then 300 metres dirt track. My property manager will meet guests near the village and show guests to the villa. The times for meeting are between 14.30 to 20.00. I cannot accept late arrivals until the next morning as it is in a rural location.

Cute little villa in stunning surroundings
Beautiful little secluded villa, very peaceful and not overlooked. Basically furnished and equipped but was clean and has everything you need. Only the last part of the road is a dirt track but once you've done it a couple of times, it's absolutely fine. Lovely pool area, our only suggestion would be some new outdoor furniture as it's all a little bit tired. Great system of meeting Dean at the BP garage, really friendly man, doesn't bother you at all throughout your stay but keeps the pool clean and responds quickly if you need him. Torrox and Frigiliana are both gorgeous places, not far to drive and well worth a visit. Supermarkets within 15 mins drive. We loved the place and can't wait to go back.

A haven of peace
I went there to wind down for a few days, and from that point of view the place was ideal. Perfect peace and quiet, complete privacy, nice little pool that was large enough for a swim. Final part of the journey there by car is pretty tricky, but manageable. Moreover, the owner was very helpful when difficulties arose with the payment process. One weak point in that the electric oven did not work, and that needs fixing.

Fantastic rural retreat
Fantastic service from start to finish. Very late check in due to Ryanair delay and issues collecting the car. However property manager was amazing. Villa rural and very pretty. Close to village and great coast. Kids loved the big pool Will stay again!

Great place!
House was clean and tidy when we arrived. All amenities (towels etc) provided. The property managers were very helpful and kind from the moment we met them to the point we left. Quick replies to our messages (even if we had no concerns about the property). Road to get there is a little bit rough but the house is very nice. We had a great time!

Lovely location
Really lovely quiet location, a car is a must. Fully equipped villa, comfortable, clean, nice outdoor area for bbq-ing and sunbathing. Could do with a little updating. Owner and representative very nice and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

i was not happy what so ever with my holiday, in fact it was ruined due to the accomadation
to begin it was so difficult to get to as it was totally off the beaten track so a four wheel drive would be my recommendation , we were not made aware of this , getting past that difficulty in my opinion the house was not kept well, the pool was dirty with lots of dead insects and wasps floating in it, the bathroom in the house seemed to have some bugs actually 100s of them that re appeared each day even after i cleaned it, the light shade was covered in them, so i think the house was not treated with necessary preventative measures which needs to happen in that heat and such a place, i contacted the house manager who never answered me, it got to the stage on the 5th day that i left the house and rented new accommodation in the locality, the owner refunded me for the four nights i did not stay there and refunded my deposit as i done no damage , she apologized and said that the cactus had some infection and thats what the insect issue was (out of her control) my holiday was ruined , my partners 50th birthday trip was not at all how i imagined, i am back from holiday now and feel like i didn't have one, i have been to the Spanish mountains many times and appreciate the wild life etc... but this property lacked love, attention and cleanliness , pity it turned out this way , lovely area and lovely views on the positive side and got some money back.

Very quiet and peaceful, lovely villa
Lovely villa that was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Pool was really clean too. Kitchen had everything you'd need for cooking during your holiday. Very secluded location that was very peaceful and a real getaway but still close enough to the town and beach to be able to visit each day. Nieves, the property manager was very friendly and helpful too and recommended some great local beaches. The only downside was the beds are a little on the old side and probably need to be replaced in the near future. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and may return again if we ever holiday in the Malaga region in the future.

Great villa
Stayed in the villa for 1 week very quite location exactly what we wanted , the village of torrox is only 10 mins in the car and torrox Costa is only 15 to 20 mins drive . We traveled with two children aged 8 and 13 their both loved the villa and the pool the villa had everything we needed their is no air con which we did know before we went it was only the last night that the heat bothered us , getting to the villa was very straight forward rang the lady who was meeting us in torrox when we got off the plane ,directions were very easy to follow and this was 10.30 at night ! Once we meet her she then took us to the villa . We will defiantly return the only thing I would change would be to have air con which would make this villa amazing
