Don't get me wrong, the view is amazing, but if you're disabled please understand the Rorbua pub and the pizza place aren't actually in the hotel, and if a cruise comes through the line is long untii 2am. It's not easily ADA accessible. Expedia and Booking claim room service, but that's patently false. They also told me I wasn't a member, which I absolutely was. I'd signed up for priority check-in and both in Tromsø and in Oslo said I hadn't. And the free breakfast tasted horribly. I'm -Norweigan American, and that wasn't either.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for four nights, and overall, it was a great experience. The best part about this hotel is its fantastic location, offering stunning views of Tromsø and easy access to various activities. Shuttle services for excursions like the Northern Lights chase, Fjellheisen (mountain cable car), and reindeer sledding are just a short walk away. Additionally, some of the best restaurants and shopping spots are within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient. The only downside is that the Cosy Rooms are quite small, which might not be ideal if you have a lot of luggage or prefer more space. However, if you are out exploring most of the time, this may not be a major issue. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location, comfort, and convenience!

This hotel was extremely wonderful for the location! Close to nearly every tour meeting location we booked; close to restaurants and shopping as well. The breakfast was great and had a lot of variety. We had a lovely view of the town and could even see the northern lights! Only issue we had was there’s no restaurant inside the hotel or any kind of room service. My brother and I both got sick and couldn’t go out to get food, so it would’ve been nice to have room service to get something delivered.

I would return here again. I do think I was in the old wing, but my room was good though the bed may have been uncomfortable if I was there for more than two nights. There was also no room to put a suitcase open anywhere. The hotel is centrally located near the airport bus as well as as many of the tour companies and the bus terminal. I did not use breakfast so I cannot comment. The staff was very kind, I very much appreciated that they had some fruit and coffee out when I left for the airport bus at 4:30 AM.
