The property is walking distance to several golf courses with others a short taxi ride.
Kilmarnock (Barassie) golf course which is hosting the Junior Open is a 20 min walk as Barassie rail station. Troon Links GC and Troon railway station are 2 miles away with the local Tennis Club and bowling club 2.5 miles. Troon Portland and Royal Troon are 3 miles away with the Open being hosted there 14-21st July. Dundonald Links GC is 2.5 miles with Dundonald Castle and bowling club being approximately 5 miles as is Prestwick airport. The Arran ferry is operating from Troon at the moment and there is a good road and rail network. There’s a local swimming pool and gym in the town center.
