We respect our guests' privacy and aim to provide a seamless, independent stay. We will not be present on the property during your visit but are readily available via the messaging app should you need any assistance or local recommendations. We will provide you with a printed house manual and digital guidebook to help answer any questions that may come up. Our team is available 8am - 9pm PT.

Tahoe Donner is a great area for families or groups looking to get away from it all without being out of touch. You are only a short drive (25-30 mins) to some of the world's best skiing, including Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley), and Northstar. You are also close (10 mins) to downtown Truckee, a bustling little mountain town with some of the best restaurants and shopping Lake Tahoe has to offer.

Guests will have full and private access to the entire home (with the exception of a couple locked spaces for the owners belongings).

The great room boasts stunning vaulted ceilings and an open-plan layout that seamlessly connects the living, dining, and kitchen areas, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone to gather. Cozy up by the gas fireplace on cool evenings, or enjoy streaming your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV equipped with Roku, Hulu Plus, and Netflix.

The sunny, updated kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your culinary needs. From the main living area, step out onto the private deck to breathe in the fresh mountain air, or unwind in the large backyard, surrounded by towering pines. Enjoy high-speed wireless internet and central heating throughout, along with board games and kids' toys for added entertainment. The cabin is newly furnished with a contemporary design, ensuring a comfortable and stylish retreat for your stay.

The home is located 10 minutes from downtown Truckee, approximately 20 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort and about 3 hours from San Francisco. Lake Tahoe is a quick 20-25 minute drive. Other ski resorts, such as Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw and Alpine Meadows) are very close as well! The opportunities are endless! Lyft, Uber, and Taxis operate in the greater Truckee area.

To ensure a transparent and wonderful stay, please review these important details:
- We can welcome no more than 6 adults.
- No Air Conditioning: Like most homes in Tahoe, our cabin does not have AC. We do supply a portable fan for the lower levels and ceiling fans in both upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.
- Mountain Life: Dust and pollen can accumulate quickly on outdoor furniture. The BBQ and other outdoor furniture may be stored and unavailable during winter (typically October- May).
- Weather & Travel: A 4WD/AWD vehicle, chains, or snow tires may be required in winter.
- Uncontrollable Events: We are not responsible for uncontrollable circumstances such as poor air quality during wildfire season or snow during winter. We strongly recommend purchasing external trip insurance, as our cancellation policy will be upheld.
- Safety: The home is equipped with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and a first aid kit for your safety.
