The amenities inside the unit were great and the host very responsive. All the details were well done and thoughtful inside the unit. However, outside the unit was a different story. The location of the property seemed very run down, was not well lit and I was a bit fearful to go in. There were transient people along the street by the property and sirens and police across the street when we arrived. The description of the unit never showed the complex in which it was located which was likely intentional- it was very old, painted turquoise and made of concrete. There was no front desk or security. I was nervous to get out of the car, but my husband convinced me to take a look inside the unit. The interior of the unit was great - clean, well decorated, thoughtfully detailed and fully remodeled. The unique furniture was high quality and the whole vibe of the unit was chic, modern, sexy and comfortable. I was disappointed that the “private pool” was not private- it was a pool shared by entire complex. Overall, I think the property is great for those that want to stay only inside and not venture out of the unit. For those people looking for a nice place in a nice area of town to walk around and explore, this may not be the place for you. We were looking for more of a luxurious, upscale, boutique experience and unfortunately the complex and neighborhood short in that regard.
