Misleading!! Dirty! Camera in Kitchen!
This was the worst vacation rental by far in all my experiences! I made the mistake of not reading the one review before me! I was in a rush to book a place and that is my fault. 1. The keycode did not work! Thankfully the host answered and gave the right code. 2. We walked in and a flood light camera blinded us in the kitchen. Not only bright, but a camera! I went in full blown panic and called VRBO. They did in the end move us out of the property. We did not stay here! 3. The apartment was in a basement. No light and very gloomy. The outdoor area, I have no clue how you access but crawling through the window… seriously. 4. It was filthy. Piles of hair in the corners of the bathroom. Hair on the toilet. Toothpaste in the sink. A huge outdoor garbage can in the kitchen!! 😵‍💫. 5. The “3rd bedroom” was in the master bedroom closet! No joke! 6. Location, hard to say, but the door looked like it had been broken into before. I freaked out about the camera and patio area and the host responded days later saying to cover the camera up and did not answer my phone call when we arrived and noticed it. As I said, VRBO was understanding and agreed this was not acceptable and put us in a hotel until we found new accommodations. It was a nightmare to say the least.

Originally advertised as Classy; not so much!
1. Owner concerned about keeping our shoes off the new carpet, yet the carpet had NOT been vacuumed before we arrived. Small pebbles and hairballs in the carpet when we arrived. Food found on floor that was drawing ants. 2. Hot water a HUGE issue. The condo is one of 24 two-bedroom units in the building. There is one 100-gallon hot water heater for entire building. There was NEVER hot water when we wanted it. Some days no showers because we couldn't get hot water. Hot water for handwashing dishes was hit-or-miss. 3. The third bedroom advertised was truly a double bed stuffed into the back of a very large closet. NO EGRESS; so illegal! 4. We reserved unit in Aug 2023 for a Feb 2024 stay, but on arrival the owners did not appear to be ready for us. Many items missing from kitchen. Refrigerator should be replaced or repaired. Paint drips everywhere. Windows not cleaned. Window sills dirty (not just dusty, dirty!). 5. Pantry in kitchen was full of owner's stuff (painting supplies, other supplies). No room for the things we brought with us. 6. A 35-gallon garbage bin (the kind you push to the end of the driveway once a week for garbage pickup) was in the kitchen for us to use for our garbage. NOT CLASSY! 7. Fire extinguisher hiding in box behind sofa; should have been mounted and accessible. 8. No first aid kit; this was advertised as being in unit. Never found it. 9. We made repairs during our stay: toilet (twice), bi-fold closet door (hung crooked/badly upon our arrival).
