Weâre giving this property three stars, not for the house itself, the amenities, or the view, but because itâs a lot to pay for a property you cannot fully utilize, a pool thatâs left unattended, and staff who make you feel like a burden. A bull was roaming the property for most of our stay, and while we understand there wasn't much the property manager could do (the script we were told over and over: there is nothing we can do, it's out of our hands), we also felt they did not take our concerns about a 1500 pound animal with horns seriously and seemed annoyed with us when we expressed concern. We were literally laughed at by one of the employees at one point. The employees are young, and clearly don't have the experience or maturity to be respectful of guests. They put up barriers upon our request, a couple ladders which the bull could clearly jump over, but they seemed annoyed at this request as well. We ended up parking our car across the driveway, which deterred the bull from entering, and using the provided kayaks to block the path to the gazebo. But, for the price paid, not feeling safe to use the whole property was a bummer. A drone with a camera arrived on one of our last days, hovering over us by the pool, not sure if that was the property management or a neighbor. Pool was never cleaned during our 8-day stay, we ended up getting the net out of storage and attempting it ourselves. Positives: location, ocean access, comfortable beds, nice house.
