Cassia Tree is a charming 3 bed/2 bath home, located just 5 mins from the North (least-crowded) entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Perfect location for spending time with family (with amenities like pack-n-play, instant pot, etc.) & enjoying the night sky right in the backyard as you enjoy the private hot tub.

Our home is just:
- 4 mins to Tortoise Rock Casino
- 5 mins to the Sky's The Limit Observatory
- 5 mins to Restaurants, Grocery stores
- 16 mins to Skull Rock (inside the park)

Our home offers beautiful views of the mountains from nearly every room. Features include:

- Hot tub & cowboy pool to make sure you can relax (cowboy pool is not operational from Nov-April due to cold temperatures)
- A game room with Foosball, Ping pong, Snooker, and board games for some competitive fun
- A dedicated workspace & high-speed internet to focus on those work from "home" days
- A fully equipped kitchen with everything from French press to an instant pot to save some money and whip up your favorite meals

POINTS TO KEEP IN MIND

We are on a fragile septic system here in the desert. PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER DOWN THE TOILET! This includes but is not limited to baby wipes (or wipes of any kind), feminine hygiene products, facial tissue, paper towels, hair, etc. Our septic tank cannot handle these and you will not be able to use the shower, sinks, or toilets.

For the charcoal grill, we do not provide charcoal although there might be some left by previous guests. Please DO NOT leave the fire unattended and check for any fire restrictions.

Joshua Tree is wilderness land. This means there are numerous insects, bees, rodents, and animals with whom we share the space with. We try our best to keep the space safe and comfortable, but the odd insect might still get in. Please be sure to keep all doors and windows closed to help keep them out of the home.

Release and Waiver of Liability: By making your reservation you and the other members of your party as "Guests" agree to release the "Hosts" from all liability, including financial or other liability for any injury, bodily harm, sickness, illness, or loss of life that the Guests may suffer and from any economic harm or loss of property occurring during, caused by, relating to, or arising in any way out of staying at this rental. Great accommodation
Good size property, great amenities. Very clean. Only crticism is the lack of plates. Only 4 available plus 2 broken ones in a seperate cupboard. Would recommend this property.

Comfortable short stay
We only stayed one night last minute, but the house and amenities were exactly what we needed. The house was spacious and cleaned just prior to our arrival. The host was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend for others to stay here. Thank you!

Beautiful property, baby friendly!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Easy check in process and a very attentive host. We had our 9 month old with us so having a high chair and pack and play available made it so easy. It’s also very close to Joshua Tree National Park, so again very easy for us to take the baby. The house was extremely spacious and clean, and great amenities! We really enjoyed the outdoor area with our dogs, the fire and stargazing from the hot tub! A perfect stay for us as a family and would 100% stay again.

Great home located in a perfect location with some minor issues
Check in process was quick and easy, home was nice and clean, we loved everything about the home including the hot tub, would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for some minor issues, seems like the home has many items that are not maintained, a few lightbulbs were burned out, has to switch a bulb from inside onto the back patio so we could see at night, kitchen chairs were all loose and literally dropping screws as we sat in them, foosball table was so wobbly that we thought it would fall apart and break, only a few garbage bags were left and we had to use some of our own bags for garbage, the charcoal grill is so loose and wobbly it barely stands on its own, Luckily we had tools with us and we were able to tighten up the foosball table and some of the kitchen chairs, all very minor details that we were able to overcome. other than those minor issues we really enjoyed our stay

Nice property overall
We had a fun stay with our marine It was close to the base and everything in town. Pros: Nice open floor plan, comfortable beds, extra pillows, hangers for your clothing, A/C worked excellent, lots of spices, fast Wifi, excellent communication with property ownes, super clean inside the interior of the home, great location and neighborhood, hot tub worked beautifully, water pressure and hot water worked even when both showers were running at the same time. Overall the inside of the home was amazing! Cons: when we arrived there were 6 dead rats in the backyard, a VERY large red ant hill in the middle of where the fire pit was, there was trash in the yard and a lot of debris from a tree, the cowboy pool was dirty with small insects and leaves from the tree, the pool was only filled with very little water, the outer foam protection was half missing and ripped, the corn hole boards were both broken and the grill was very dirty, the teal charis were falling apart and not safe to sit in and the foosball table was also falling apart. I will say the property owners were very fast in responding to our issues about the rats but it wasn't until about 7pm on our last day the rat situation and yard clean up was finally resolved. They did give us $100 refund for the trouble but it was a on going issue that took time away from enjoying the trip completely. Overall we had a good time we just wish we could have enjoyed the entire property as intended.

Great property!
We visited some family in 29 in February of 2023. This rental is just a few minutes away from downtown 29 Palms which is getting revamped and has some really nice local businesses to visit for food and shopping. It is also just a few minutes from the casino and park entrance. Overall, the rental is nicely updated (new carpets, nice hot tub, fire pit, and cute furniture). The rental is nicely updated inside and kept very clean! The kitchen is kept very clean - nothing is left in the fridge and there's a nice selection of pots / pans as well as modern plates, cups and flatware. The kitchen / dining area is also very roomy; there's plenty of counter space for cooking and room for a family-style dinner. We have a 5 month old baby, so we also used the pack n play and high chair, both had everything they needed and were so convenient to have access to. The hosts also have a few special touches that make this place great - we were greeted with a bottle of wine, a snack bowl, and handwritten note when we arrived. Each room has its own set of towels nicely folded on the bed. And each bathroom has a little tray of "makeup towels" that are nice and soft for face washing. There were a few little things we needed to reach out to the host for and they were very responsive - always getting back to me within a couple of hours. Highly recommend this location! We'll definitely be back next year for our annual trip. That hot tub definitely put me in vacation mode. :)

Spacious Family House
Winter weekend with family. House was huge with nice amenities. Very clean and kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, bedding, towels and even spices! Game room, theatre and billiard room plus hot tub kept everyone entertained. Thank you Ken! We will be back.
