Warm & welcoming mountain retreat! Just minutes to the Mount Washington Resort at Bretton Woods, enjoy all four seasons in the White Mountains. Cozy, but ample indoor space, plus great outdoor space with new covered Jacuzzi, perfect after a long day enjoying the outdoors. Large deck facing the mountain views, a private covered porch, lots of green space, nicely landscaped with paths up to the snowmobile trails/National Forest. Plenty of room to keep your snowmobiles or other "toys" protected from the weather. We have 6 homes in the North Country, come stay with us!

Grounds nicely maintained with large in garage for larger groups. Fully stocked kitchen and amenities like a/c, wii fi all with great local mountain views, only 4 miles from Mt Washington and Bretton Woods. Fire pit in back yard, great for night time gathering. Jacuzzi with covered roof, great for R&R after long days enjoying the outdoors!!

Only 4 miles from Mt. Washington, allows easy access to all season outdoor adventures: skiing or zip lining at Bretton Woods, dinner at the grand hotel Omni or hiking Crawford Notch.

Only 15 m minutes from I93 allows for easy access to Franconia State Park and Cannon Mt as well. Home driveway does have a hill - plan for winter weather .

Beautiful cottage in the heart of the White Mountains. An area I used to vacation in as a child. Perfect family oriented property for making memories. Very clean with all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation. Great location with lots to do nearby. I will rent again for sure.

Thanksgiving retreat

Perfect location, and lucky to get fresh snow and be there for the opening of Bretton Woods and Cannon. Very comfortable house, we enjoyed the wood stove (bring your own wood) and kitchen had everything needed to make some memorable family meals. Would stay there again, thanks for sharing the space with us!

Misleading

I just returned from our stay with sisters and friends. The house itself was as advertised but the amenities were very misleading. The outdoor fire pit was not nearly the same as the photo. There was no metal fire pit and no real seating around it. The hot tub is not the same as the photo. There is a step stool to get in. The game room is actually the garage. Which overall would be fine, but it is where the trash is kept so it smelt terrible. Additionally, it was musty and moldy. There were no stools around the bar and no table with chairs to sit as photographed. To top it off, the listing advertises trail hikes and the photos present it as a nicely mowed and well kept entrance over the little foot bridge. This was not the case. The grass was about knee high with no clear path. Overall just incredibly misleading. Just to add, the chairs on the front porch are all torn to the point that you cannot sit in this.

Cute White Mountain cottage

We arrived once the sun had set, so we did not get to fully take in the amazing view from this property until the next morning. We were glad we were there for peak foliage. We loved the space. My daughter loved the secret garden in the backyard. We wish we knew there was a wood stove as it was a chilly weekend. We also found that several outlets/lights did not work (ie the light for the front bedroom was not functional).

The property suited us well for one night away to accommodate a local wedding. There’s plenty of sleeping space and the property has a nice rustic feel. There is some upkeep that could be done, notably the AC/thermostat and large amounts of dust fell when using the overhead fan. I would expect a little more for the price

Not as advertised. Property description has been changed since 8/21

We booked this place because it looked nice. Rustic which is what we like. Skylights, hot tub, hardwood floors, mountain views etc. Lets start with what we liked... Loved the interior pine woodwork. Tongue and groove walls & ceiling have a wonderful New England cottage feel to them. The location is great as it was close to everything we wanted to do. It is easy to find and just off a main road. Road noise was not a problem as by 8:30PM during weekdays there is pretty much no traffic. There is ample parking and the landscaping is nicely done. However, what was shown in the photos was not what we found when we arrived. The hot tub pictured is NOT the hot tub on the property. It has been changed out with a different one. The one now in place is old, damaged, and smelled terrible. It was unusable. I own a hot tub and know how they should be kept and maintained. The cover was literally falling apart as you opened it. It had an interesting color to the water which we initially thought to be caused by the shell color. But after 5 mins in the tub, we found out otherwise. Did I mention the smell? It was not useable and disappointing as it was one of the primary reasons we booked this property. The listing when we booked claimed skylights with lots of natural lighting. WRONG! All of the skylights were blocked and appear to be permanently covered over. None of the skylights were visible. There was still daylight in the front rooms but the property description and the photos were not what was actually there. The amount of dust located on the living room ceiling fan was disgusting. The AC unit looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. The lighting fixtures in the bathroom were caked with dust, only 1 of the 3 sink lights worked, and the one that did work kept flickering because the entire socket was loose. There is no carpeting. It's a laminated floor...which was ok but is not what was written in the description (and which is different from the photos). Also, the bathroom shown in the advertisement photos is not the one you will find. But it was in decent condition. I am sure the owners will provide some reason for the deficiencies we mentioned. Whatever the reason, it will be insufficient. This felt like a bait and switch. What was advertised was NOT what was provided. The property description was not accurate and the photos are not reflective of what you will find. Buyer beware.

Relaxing Mountain Getaway

Had a great time. Property was very accommodating of four adult parents in need of a relaxing escape. Don't expect complete privacy from neighbors or perfect upkeep of property , but these minor issues did not take away from the experience.

Comfortable and centrally located

Our family of 5 (mom, dad and 3 adult children) was comfy here! We loved the hot tub, the well equipped kitchen, and the porches! The beds were comfortable, one son slept on the couch and was fine. The location was 15 minutes from Cannon Mt. where our activities were centered. We also went into Bethlehem. Very cute town center. We had a really relaxing stay. We highly recommend!
