Great location! The river behind the house was a fun spot for hanging out and floating on tubes. Lots of hikes and swimming holes close by. We enjoyed going into town, a day at Storyland, and a gondola ride. Wally was a very accomodating and helpful host. He responded promptly to any questions. Kitchens were clean and well stocked. Not a lot of takeout options nearby so we used the kitchens a lot. The house is spacious and there was plenty of room for our group of 11. It was nice to have a sun porch, screen porch, and back yard.

Wonderful location, amenities and roominess!

We loved the property overall. We used the river behind the house to ride tubes down, wade and build a fire next to. We also used the pool table, ping pong table and foosball in the game room. There were also ample t.v.s. and kitchen utensils. The location is ideal within half an hour of so many things to do! We went biking and hiking through the mountains, swimming in the lower falls, went to the top of Mount Washington and went zip lining in Lincoln. The draw backs were that the outside of the property looked uncared for. Everything looked overgrown and the furniture in the back was very dirty and covered with tree sap so it couldn't be utilized. Some doors were difficult to open, the dishwasher leaked some when used and the shower diverter upstairs was broken. There is no A.C. but plenty of fans and windows (but hard to close). Still, overall the property was adequate. The price is somewhat expensive -- we paid over $1200 per night-- so these little things mattered because this was our big family vacation. I would give it a solid "B" rating with room to make it an "A" with a little more care.

Absolutely beautiful!

Came up with some friends and we absolutely loved our stay. The house was huge, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The river running behind the house was gorgeous. Walid was a great host and easy to work with. Definitely will be making a plan to come back!

Family Reunion

Twin Mountain River House was the perfect place for our family reunion! The location was perfect for visiting Santa’s Village, exploring several nature hikes and waterfalls, and a bonus was having the river out back to enjoy as well
 which the kids loved exploring! The house was a perfect fit for our large family with plenty of space for everyone! Our host, Wally, was great! Very nice and quickly responsive to any questions we had. Overall an awesome place to stay!

Wonderful family reunion!

This spacious property allowed our group to enjoy so much together from lawn games, campfires, and playing in the river plus space to spread out inside. Everything was well organized and labeled, clear communication from the hosts, comfortable seating and beds. With plentiful activities nearby the location can’t be beat. Thank you!

great spot for ski trip

a few of us went on a ski trip to nh and needed a nice spot to come back to at night. This was it, and did not disappoint at all. easy to find, private, and very roomy, this place was exactly what we were looking for. I would like to make another trip in the summer to see the views on the river! thanks
