The property felt safe, parking was good. Pet friendly was very nice. Great location. Fire pit was closed. The grass on property needed mowing. The outdoor furniture worked good for our group. The plastic chairs were a little concerning with our heavier family members. The kitchen utensils need improving. The four-slice toaster only toasted 2 slices on one side while the other 2 slices toasted on both sides. The picture of the room is not the type of furniture the house had, but it was very accommodating for our family. I don't understand why I was charged 180. for more guests when it is advertised to sleep 8 and we only had 7. We had 1 child and 6 adults.

We really needed the fenced yard and sliding glass doors in two bedrooms for our dogs. These two home features are the most important for dog owners, so I recommend highlighting this in the VRBO photo page instead of decoration photos. Home was also priced right given its age and location.

Timed bathroom lights are terrible. Taking a shower left in dark to stumble from tub to turn lights back on. Very BAD experience and would not return unless changed.Other shore has no soap holder

The area was fine and located close to downtown. The beds were very comfortable. However: There were no instructions for the WiFi. After contacting the owners, we were given the PW, but the WiFi was so weak that it really didn't work, which meant the TV didn't work. There were no hair dryers. Kitchen utensils were lacking. The toaster was broken. There are a number of other issues that need to be addressed. Minimal water pressure in one of the bathrooms. (Other one was great.)

The rooms were clean and the kitchen well equipped. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have good air conditioning working on hot days. The disappointment was with the overall feel of the place. The photo looks so bright and cheery but there were dark curtains on the living room windows that didn't really fit the length and made the rooms feel so dreary and drab. Both showers need to be made to flow more evenly. One of the bedroom lamps needed a switch repaired.

Celebration of Life

The stay at the Utopian property served the purposes of our visit. It was comfortable, well-appointed and we were able to visit and enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and everyone enjoyed a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the rainy weather kept us from enjoying the outdoor seating areas and BBQ. Utopian House is centrally located in Ukiah and within walking distance of many restaurants, coffee houses, and bars.

Nice roomie place in Ukiah!

Very nice space. Great parking and loved the side porch. Saw deer, a skunk and a bobcat. Kitchen well stocked. Beds very comfortable!

A little bit smaller than what we originated due to the pictures, Beds very comfortable, Backyard the pictures were nothing like what it looks like, the pictures need to definitely be updated. It is definitely not what it says it is, but the host is very kind and accommodating well stocked.

Good place

Property was great for our family. Good location and easy access to stores and freeway. A little trouble finding WiFi password, but figured it out from customer service. Maybe a good idea to have it posted in the house? We could have used a few extra blankets. All in all - we would definitely rent again. Thank you!

Clean and comfortable

Hon’s home was a very comfortable retreat for my family and I while we were in town for a wedding. Very comfortable beds, and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms- which even had every spare amenity you could need. My daughter was grateful for the spare toothbrushes and toothpaste as she forgot hers. Great location, close to everything.

Great location - clean and quiet - comfy beds!

We loved the home and location convenient. Most comfortable beds for rental we have had yet! We are old ukiah people just needed a place to stay close to parents without burdening them and their only bathroom with our family of three. The only reason I gave accuracy of listing a 3 was because there were no bidets as advertised (owner has corrected) which was a huge bummer for us and backyard very overgrown compared to photos. Otherwise just really loved it!

Family reunion

The location and size of the home were as described. The beds were comfortable. The linens were very nice. The kitchen appliances were as described. There was a limited number of hangers in the bedroom closets. The kitchen was missing a few essentials like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and spatula. The coffee maker was great however, it needed cone filters and all that were provided were basket filters. A cheese grater, measuring cups and measuring spoons would’ve been nice to have. When we arrived, there was an issue with the kitchen sink drainage but it was quickly resolved by the property manager, which we really appreciated.

Perfect for family!

We were back in my hometown for a family reunion and this house was perfect! Two couples, one single person and my grandson fit well in the three bedrooms, the master bedroom being set away from the other rooms. The washer and dryer came in really handy and we cooked a couple of breakfasts in the kitchen wish ease! There were even a few books and toys for my grandson to play with during our stay! There is a great coffee shop a couple of blocks away and even though it was quite hot while we were there the air conditioning keep things comfortable (not something you get in all California homes)! This house was perfect for us and communicating with the host was quick and easy! Highly recommend!

Nice home convenient to downtown

A very clean, nice home. There was an issue of communication with the owner when a problem arose. Late one evening a smoke detector began to beep once every 30 seconds. I emailed the owner without response. I called a phone number provided with check in info, no response. I then called VRBO customer service, who in turn called the owner without success. The beeping stopped around 2am but it caused a miserable night’s sleep.
