The 90 m2 apartment, completely restored in 2014, combines charm and comfort.
It is ideally located in the heart of the historic district of the city of Uzes, 50 meters from the famous Place aux Herbes where you can find delicious regional products.
It is located on the 2nd floor of a small old 3-storey building, with a spiral stone staircase.
The apartment includes a large living room, bringing together a contemporary kitchen and the living area.
- A bedroom with a 160 cm bed and its adjoining terrace of 12 m2, fitted out to take meals there and relax in great peace.
- A bedroom / office with a 140 sofa bed for 2 people

Un trĂšs bon souvenir

Nous avons passĂ© un joyeux sĂ©jour dans cette location d'UzĂšs. L'appartement est trĂšs confortable et bien Ă©quipĂ©, en plein coeur de la ville, dans un boulevard Ă©chelonnĂ© de restaurants et de magasins. Juste en face, il y a une boulangerie. Rien que traverser la rue pour pouvoir se rĂ©galer tous les jours avec des croissants et des viennoiseries au petit dĂ©jeuner. Nous avons notamment apprĂ©ciĂ© la petite terrasse oĂč nous avons pu dĂźner en contemplant les beaux couchers du soleil. Mis Ă  part UzĂšs, ville Ă  rĂ©miniscences mĂ©diĂ©vales qui mĂ©rite d'ĂȘtre visitĂ©e, nous avons fait le parcours des villages alentours, chacun recĂšle un charme particulier. Le pont du Gard est aussi un incontournable du pays. Nous remercions Jane, la propriĂ©taire, de sa gentillesse, de son attention, de tous ses soucis pour nous rendre notre sĂ©jour agrĂ©able et de tous les bons conseils et renseignements sur les endroits Ă  visiter et sur les restaurants. Wir bedanken uns fĂŒr das große entgegengebrachte Vertrauen. Die Wohnung wird auch von den Vermietern selbst genutzt und ist sehr persönlich eingerichtet, daher ist auch wirklich alles vorhanden. Es gibt eine BĂ€ckerei direkt gegenĂŒber, ein kleiner Supermarkt ist in Laufentfernung. Lediglich das Be- und Endladen des Autos, insbesondere an Samstagen, ist wegen des Marktes schwierig. Die Vermieter haben uns hierbei geholfen, und auch kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung gezeigt. Vielen Dank hierfĂŒr.

A lovely, well appointed apartment in the heart of Uzes life. From the warm and thorough welcome, to the charming and tasteful decor, we loved this apartment from the get go. We spent two weeks at Jane and Claude’s second storey apartment and had the best time. The location cannot be better, it’s a short stroll to everything (and there’s a lot, Uzes is fabulous). It’s clearly a loved holiday home for these gracious and friendly owners as it’s super well appointed and clearly decorated with love. Part of our trip was the cooking school with legend Peta Mathias and having a kitchen with everything that you needed for market day inspiration was amazing. Whilst it had no dedicated parking, Claude showed us a great local free spot only moments away and we never missed out on a park. In August! Come to this enchanting town and stay in this wonderful spot. Our thanks for sharing it with us. Abientot mes amis!

Ideale Unterkunft mitten in UzĂšs

Die Ferienwohnung war uns ideal. Sie ist sehr ansprechend und vollstĂ€ndig ausgestattet und liegt absolut zentral. Das Highlight ist auf der einen Seite der Wohnung der Blick vom kleinen Balkon ĂŒber das Treiben auf den Boulevard Gambetta und auf der Westseite die beschauliche AtmosphĂ€re auf der gerĂ€umigenTerrasse, ausgestattet mit Tisch, StĂŒhlen, LiegestĂŒhlen, elektrischer Markise und Weber-Gasgrill. Die sehr zu empfehlende Boulangerie und Patisserie liegt direkt gegenĂŒber, alles andere ist in ein paar Minuten fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen. Ein Tipp noch fĂŒr diejenigen, die mit dem Auto anreisen: Im Boulevard Gambetta ist ĂŒber die Woche nur ein Kurzparken möglich. LĂ€ngeres Parken ist auf dem Parkplatz gegen GebĂŒhr direkt hinter der Ferienwohnung oder gebĂŒhrenfrei direkt am anschließenden Wohnviertel (Rue Joseph Lacroix, Rue de Cedres,etc.) möglich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und kommen gerne wieder.

The Apartment & the Village

For my wife and I, the apartment more than met all our needs; central, 'walk to everything' location, access to outside spaces, both front and rear, all conveniences provided, pots, dishes, internet, etc. The bustle of Uzes was out our front windows and the quite, sleeping area was in the rear. Jane & Claude were gracious, helpful hosts, especially on the tip for where to find parking and the La Tomate Bleue Restaurant. Now about Uzes; international & local, small yet very lively, markets, squares, tennis, knitting, painting, language classes, fun, gracious people, cafes & restaurants of all varieties, nearby small villages & Pont du Gard, all in an over the top beautiful setting. We highly recommend the Apartment and the Village.

From the first communication through to the final goodbye in person this place was wonderful. We were greeted in person by Jane and Claude who were charming and helpful about the village and the apartment. They even kindly invited us to come with them to Pont du Gard to an incredible light projection and music show. The apartment is large and very well set up. As they live there part time there is everything you need and more, especially in the kitchen. They had waiting for us fresh milk, fresh bread, and a lovely bottle of wine from a friend’s local vineyard. Very kind and thoughtful. The rooms are large and airy. The bed is very comfortable. The room is quite hot at night and the air con can’t be used overnight as the noise disturbs the neighbors however there is a fan and the doors can be left open. There is a mosquito net over the bed too although we only saw one mosquito. The apartment includes a wonderful large terrace. We lived out here in the evenings with a platter of all the lovely local food and cold rosù - trù bien ! The apartment is very well situated and we loved the location - close to everything. Perfect place to explore Uzes

Jane’s apartment is the perfect place to enjoy and experience the beautiful village of Uzùs. The apartment is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals with the fresh fish, cheese, produce and other fabulous foods from the twice weekly market. The location is quiet and close to everything. We will be back.

A Wonderful Apartment

We loved staying in Jane's apartment. It is centrally located in Uzes, just steps away from the historical center where the 2 weekly markets are held. The apartment is well equipped with everything we needed, and Jane made sure that we knew how to take advantage of all of the amenities. Everything was in excellent working condition. The bed was comfortable and the terrace in the back was ideal for breakfast in the morning and watching the sun set in the evening. Uzes itself is a great place to stay. It is easy driving distance to many places of interest, and the town has lots of restaurants and places to shop for food, pharmacy needs, and other items. We are so glad that we chose to stay in this apartment, and we thank Jane for her gracious welcome and hospitality.

Die Ferienwohnung und die zentrale Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Die Wohnung im 2. Obergeschoss mitten im Zentrum von UzĂ©s, an dem Boulevard Gambette ist zum WohlfĂŒhlen eingerichtet, es fehlte an nichts. Die Terrasse auf der Strassenabgewanten Seite ist ideal zum ZurĂŒckziehen, essen und lesen. An der mit Platanen gesĂ€umten Strasse, duftete es schon morgens in der FrĂŒhe nach frisch gebackenen Baquette und anderem mehr. Verschiedene GeschĂ€fte wie Metzgereien sind alle an dieser Strasse zu finden. FĂŒnf Minuten Fussweg um auf den Place aux Herbes zu gelangen. Wichtig zu wissen schein uns, dass man im Parkhaus der Stadt fĂŒr vierzehn Tag eine Dauerkarte zum Preis von € 95.40 erhĂ€lt. Die Besitzerin, gab uns gute Tipps fĂŒr Besichtigungen und Restaurants. Beautiful, stylish and spacious apartment in the heart of gorgeous Uses, with a wonderful host.

We have stayed in some wonderful places through Air BnB and HomeAway - and this has been the best of all. Jane is the kindest of hosts - we were welcomed and so warmed by her generosity and care. We stayed for longer than usual, and everything about it was perfect. The apartment is so pretty - lovely wrought iron balconies at the front, and a large sunny deck at the back where we enjoyed almost all our meals. The kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed preparing meals - buying many treats from the fabulous market across the road in the Place Aux Herbes - so easy. Both bedrooms are large and light, and the access from the main bedroom onto the back balcony is a delight. The bathroom area is quite separate which makes it very private. And in spring, opening the doors onto the street from the main living area is so pretty. We used many of Jane's recommendations for the best boulangeries, restaurants etc and they were such a help. Everything is close to the apartment - you feel very much a part of this very picturesque market town, but it is also quiet and peaceful here. We traveled from Australia to spend time in the south of France and wanted to find a town to stay in that was small enough to be in without a car, but with enough to do to keep us interested. Uses was absolutely the right choice - and we feel so lucky to have found Jane's apartment as well. It could not have been better. Thankyou Jane for making this trip so special. We absolutely loved your apartment and hope to return soon !
