Newly Remodeled East Vail Single Family Home w/ Private Hot Tub, Amazing views!

To call this endearing and charming cottage ‘adorable’ would be doing it a disservice. However, it IS truly adorable. Alluringly so. It doesn’t scream to be heard but quietly demands your attention with warmly hushed tones of welcome. It’s not ostentatious, but in addition to being pleasantly cozy, it is surprisingly airy and bright, despite its size, wonderfully situated and undeniably attractive. This exquisite gem, nestled among the Rocky Mountain Aspens in East Vail, was completely remodeled in 2018 as well as a new heating system installed in October of 2023 featuring tow zones for the lower and upper level. This house accommodates up to six guests with two bedrooms, one double sofa bed and one bathroom. Boasting one of the best views from a private hot tub in town, it also exhibits an appealingly contemporary furniture design and new kitchen appliances. It’s particularly well appointed and complete with gas fireplace which is fancifully set into a multi-colored mosaic tiled hearth, washer/dryer, wi-fi internet access and three HD televisions. The kids will delight in the magical cottage/tree house feel. What a beautiful opportunity this environment affords your family to get closer, to deepen your relationships while discovering a more intimate connection with nature.

There is a rather large sunny deck facing the East Vail mountainside with hot tub, grill, table and chairs. An added convenience is the food market and liquor store just a few minutes from the house. The property is conveniently located on the free shuttle bus line that runs to Vail Village and the lifts every 15 minutes during ski season, and every 30 minutes in summer. This is a great location for vacationers in both winter and summer with easy access to hiking trails, the golf course, bicycling, and cross-country skiing. Plan your vacation around this dreamy and lovely home!

Perfect stay
The location of this property is very conveniently located 2 mins walk up the hill from an East Vail (blue line) bus stop. The amenities within the house were all brand new, modern, and clean. This place may seem small for groups larger than 4, as the bedrooms and living room space are not too large. But the hot tub on the deck with a view of the mountains makes it all worth it!! Fantastic place to stay.

Cozy Stay
House was perfect for our little ski vacation family of 4. It was very conveniently located to get to either vail village or lionheads village and we liked that we could either take the highway or frontage road as the hwy (vail pass) was at times closed due to conditions. We did not make use of the shuttle only because it snowed the entire time we were there so preferred to drive. However, shuttle stop was close by and we saw shuttles continually running. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. They did have people come plow the driveway every day. As previous reviewers have stated, another curtain or blinds would be preferable at least for the bathroom. We initally believed the pull down see through shade allowed us to see out but not for someone to see in. However, that is not the case during the evenings. Thanks for a great stay!

10/10 cute, cozy and very home feeling.
It's a very nice and cute place to stay and enjoy your time with family, The location is quiet with an amazing view of the mountains. Very nice and well organised from the inside kitchen with all asirtiments and outside, cozy and cute to stay for the family 2+2.The only thing that I could suggest to take UNDER consideration is to change to 'not see through CURTAINS', especially in the bathroom. We have to hang on the window extra towel during the bathroom time to not feel like a fish in a tank.

AMAZING VIEWS!
What an amazing place this is. My husband and I stayed here with our two girls (2&8). We had the vacation of a lifetime here. The hot tub out on the deck is the best part about this place. We spent a lot of time in it and enjoyed it so much. All the appliances worked fabulously and the place was extremely clean and tidy. I loved the coziness of the fireplace and we also enjoyed the bedrooms having TV’s and extra fans stored in the closets. My only thing I can complain about or recommend is having a King size bed in the master and not a Queen. Even with that, I give this place a 5 star! It was incredible and absolutely worth it.

Cute house
This really is a cute house - it’s small but was plenty big enough for me. It was perfectly clean and the beds were very comfortable. It’s very nice to have the privacy of a house, rather than sharing walls with your neighbors as one does in a typical condo building. The spacious deck has a tremendous view of forested mountainsides and sky - it’s a great spot to watch the drama of the weather. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the appliances are of excellent quality. All in all it’s a great place, but I did feel it fell short if perfection in a couple of ways. First, the proximity of both I-70 and Bighorn Rd makes for a lot of traffic noise, especially during the day. Second, there are no curtains on any of the windows - just transparent roller shades, so it!s a bit like being in a fishbowl. For an exhibitionist, it would be a dream come true, but I felt uncomfortable, and had to resort to hanging towels and sheets on the windows for privacy. There us one other, more important thing that needs to be addressed. There is a large patch of poison hemlock behind the house, right next to the deck. These plants are extremely toxic: ingestion of even a tiny amount can cause a fatal respiratory paralysis. Their presence so close to the house is a real danger, particularly if there are children playing around who might accidentally come in contact with them. They need to be removed.

Great location
We had a great stay in Vail. This home was a perfect spot for our family. It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked to cook and enjoy meals on the porch. The bus stop was close to come and go to Vail and hikes easily. My only suggestion would be to add some type of screen to the doors in the master bedroom to allow for some more airflow during the summer evening.
