Condo needs a lot of updating

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved the Westwood location, management and customer service. Although the condo was the right size and did have much of what I needed, it is in desperate need of updating. There were no working humidifiers (a MUST!), the spices, although many, were so very old, the bedding and pillows were seriously lacking, the drawer for the dresser was broken, as was a knob on the night table..I could go on. However, the management of Westwind is stellar. The whole team is super responsive, helpful, lovely (even drove me and picked me up from the grocery store!). Property just needs a refresh.

Convenient Lionshead Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying here and being able to park our car for the weekend and walk to the gondola, restaurants, and the shuttle bus to Vail Village within minutes. We enjoyed the hottub each day after skiing, and the pool was also very warm and relaxing. The condo is supposed to sleep four in a one bedroom with a hidebed couch in the living room. The hideabed is terrible and our son had to pull the mattress off of it and sleep on the floor the second night to be able to get any sleep.

Wonderful Location for skiing

The location is great - close to the lifts at Lionhead, the grocery store (and general store), and bus stop to Vail Village. There are stairs involved to get from the condo to everything. We had some issues with kitchen supplies during our stay - we reported that to the property management and they took care of it the next day. I was very impressed with the property management's communication and responsiveness. The sectional in the living room was very comfortable - they were updates to the ottoman and chair in the living room compared to the pictures. (nice upgrades) We really enjoyed the ski room in this condo complex as well.

Comfortable but austere

Excellent location, great prop management team, pool, spa, gym and shower/changing much appreciated and nice. Garage parking and ski locker was a super bonus! Condo was nice and adequately served our needs as we skied and shopped or worked out most of our 4 day stay. We generally went to the Arrabelle rt across rink from condo or The Hythe the newly renovated Marriott property to hang out as a family. This was Dad and Daughters ski trip. Now the negs: If u are a family of blind, skiing elves who hate washing your clothes this condo is perfect: lights out everywhere, tiny kitchen and eating counter 3ft off ground, a bathroom and shower very small (it had mold in the shower) and a washer/dryer closet that was locked (as was the 2nd bedroom, sleeping 4 here is a stretch w a pull out couch every night) Its a condo im renting not a hotel room, pls provide standard condo amenities. But the fireplace was really nice we used constantly and view off balcony was pretty, i just think it could be so much more for the price w a little tender loving care and open up the space.

Perfect Ski Location

This was a great and easy trip. The location is perfect and the couch is amazing. We were also happy to have the king sized bed. We had to rent a dehumidifier. We also had some loud guests upstairs stomping around at all times 3am, 1pm, 9pm, etc... Not sure what time zone they live in. Ha! That's not the owners fault, but the walls might be a little thin. Everything else was great.

Short walk in ski boots to Lionshead’s gondola

Check-in was seemless, friendly, and helpful, including issuing a lock for a ski-locker. The building Hot tub is huge and Very needed after a day of skiing or snowboarding. Condo was nicely decorated and had most everything that we needed, from spices to coffee maker, pots and pans, even a skewer for making s’mores in the gas fireplace. The bathroom is only accessed from inside the master bedroom, but did have the vanity separate. The pullout coach was comfy. Could have had a room humidifier, though, and the bedroom tv remote control to change channels was missing. Overall, better than expected! Thanks!

Great location. Easy, short walk to gondola and other Lionshead amenities. Unit was clean, but unit needs some updating, especially plumbing fixtures in bathroom. On-site staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay in building again.

The condominium was very dark with just a few lamps and sparse overhead lights

The manager of the complex and the onsite manager were both great! The condominium was advertised for 4 people, it is very small for that amount of people for more then one night. Also the paucity of lighting really affected the ambience of the condominium. The location was great.
