Charming Gîte La Fontanelle near Rodez and Conques
Owners of this family home for over a century, we have completely redesigned and renovated La Fontanelle with care to offer you a comfortable and authentic stay.
This former winegrower's house, perched on the heights, boasts exceptional views over the Marcillac valley and its vineyards.
Ideally located, La Fontanelle is the perfect starting point to explore the treasures of Aveyron: cultural, gastronomic, sporting, and outdoor activities, with hiking trails accessible directly from the gîte. Nearby, you’ll find Rodez and the Soulages Museum, Conques on the Camino de Santiago, Salles-la-Source and its famous waterfall, Marcillac-Vallon and its wine, Lake Pareloup, as well as remarkable natural sites like the Tarn Gorges and Montpellier-le-Vieux.
The gîte includes:
Ground floor: living room with kitchen and separate WC, sofa, flat-screen TV, round table with chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, extractor, oven/microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc.).
First floor: a large, bright bedroom with double aspect, King Size bed, coffee table, vintage armchair, chest of drawers, and clothes rack. Ensuite shower room: sink with illuminated mirror, vanity unit, shower cabin with sliding doors, and towel rack. The bedroom is air-conditioned.
Outside: spacious terrace with table and chairs, parasol, and two deckchairs, offering open views over the Marcillac valley.
Practical information: non-smoking gîte. Bed linen and towels included. Cleaning is your responsibility or available for an extra fee.
