Wonderful stay at the Frater Yucatan! My wife and I packed in a lot during a short trip and the hotel was the perfect place to unwind due to its comfort, beauty and hospitality. We cannot say enough about the staff, who went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. Both David and Julie especially took care of our hotel needs while offering valuable travel tips and most importantly a sincere friendliness that made us feel welcome. Also the hotel was in a great area to enjoy a charming city and we had no problem finding parking.

Overall excellent service. Breakfast was included and amazing. Plenty of parking outside. A bit far from city center but quiet and excellent restaurants. Rooms are big and looks updated

We enjoyed this property. It’s so close to calzada de Los frailes and the covento. There’s a lot of cute cafes, good restaurant options and cantinas in the area. The breakfast was good, and all of the staff was very nice. We have no complaints.

Incredible experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay a beautiful experience. Room was amazing and there were plenty of vegan dining options within a block of walking. Also, the premises had a cafe that had plenty of vegan milk and vegan food options. They had an amazing spa service who went above and beyond to provide service after regular hours even.

The Breakfast did not have a lot of options but was tasty. There was a coffee shop open all day located at the entrance of the hotel. All the staff we encountered were so helpful and friendly. The area was very beautiful, walkable and felt safe. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable, had great water pressure in the bathroom, and air conditioning worked great. Great restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was in the area.

We loved our stay at Los Frailes. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The a/c was not working well in our room and they did not hesitate and switched us to another room. The room was immaculate and the location was perfect. Really cute hotel, brand new.

So far our 2nd favourite in Valladolid

This was a very nice place and the staff was wonderful, aside from some stinginess over toilet paper on the housekeepers part, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The reakfast was very good. They have no parking at all so this might be a consideration for some.

New hotel, opened December 1st. While there are still some renovations, the hotel was very well presented, staff was courteous & helpful. The Signature room was spacious for 3 of us (1 child). Location was right across the Bernardino convent - lots of activities available at this time of year.

Wij logeerden 2 nachten in dit prachtige hotel. Onze kamer was voldoende groot voor 4 personen en heel mooi ingericht. Kleinschalig, rustig en toch dichtbij het centrum. De ideale uitvalsbasis voor een bezoekje aan verschillende cenotes (Oxman, Zaci,…) en Chichen Itza. In het centrum waren er voldoende lekkere en charmante restaurants aanwezig. Ook de aangrenzende (koffie)bar is een aanrader. Als we al een puntje van kritiek kunnen geven, dan is het de lengte van het zetelbed. Onze dochter is 1m75 en het bed was helaas niet lang genoeg (maar voor 2 nachten zeker wel doenbaar😉). Zelf zou ik hotelgasten ook voorzien van een extra 2de rol toiletpapier.

From the moment we checked in, the receptionist was unfriendly. The lock on the balcony window in the room we were initially assigned was broken, allowing anyone to enter. We requested assistance, but instead of offering to change to a different room, they offered to repair it. After an hour, they told us the repairman would take a long time to fix it, and assigned us a different room. They initially offered us a downgraded room, and only when we told them we didn't want that did they give us a room of the same standard. The room we received smelled awfully moldy. We wanted to leave immediately, but since we'd already paid for three nights and four days, and HOTELS.COM doesn't allow cancellations, we're considering forfeiting our money and moving to another hotel.
