A beautifully finished Duplex Maisonette found in one of Valletta's most iconic stepped cobblestone roads called, St Ursula Street. Forming part of a 300 year old traditional house, this property is a true marriage between Maltese heritage and modern design with a minimalistic feel. As one walks into the property you are immediately embraced with an impressive stone archway leading to a fully functioning modern kitchen enjoying drinking water reverse osmosis, coffee machine, full sized fridge freezer and other everyday essentials. Accessible with a meticulously designed wrought iron staircase is an alluring mezzanine with low ceilings and wooden beams consisting of a welcoming sofa with a smart TV followed by a cosy bedroom area with a Juliet balcony, a good sized bathroom with shower and a washing machine and inbuilt tumble dryer, included is also free WiFi and air conditioning. The maisonette is located seconds away from Valletta's iconic Bridge Bar, which hosts great jazz every Friday during summer time. The property is also surrounded by chic coffee shops, Michelin star restaurants and museums, booking this property will definitely be a memorable stay for any generation.

Location location

This was a gem. A modern apartment melded into centuries old architecture. Clean and every amenity required carefully presented at your fingertips. Restaurants, shops and historical sites all close at hand. Thoroughly enjoyed this property.

I would have liked to give it 5 stars, but there were no adapters in the house, because no Euro plugs fit into the English sockets. And to charge the mobile phones, iPad and watch, you need four. The hairdryer didn't have an adapter either. We complained about this immediately and were initially told to buy some ourselves, as they had probably been stolen. There was an apology, but the adapters were only brought the next day. Then there was only one large pot in the kitchen and none was brought despite complaints. So you can only cook stew.

Superior Stay

Location, location, location !!! You couldn’t ask for better. Up the hill to the Upper Barrakka Gardens, a short stroll further to Saint John’s co Cathedral 
 let me shorten the list, walking distance to everything !!! This is a wonderful duplex apartment. Clean, lacking nothing you require for your stay, comfortable, simply adorable place. I can imagine how wonderful it must be to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace on a warm summer night. Loved the QR coding for all the appliances, just makes life and a holiday that much less stressful. Gwenn (the property manager) was amazing. She arranged for a taxi pickup at the airport, followed up with us after our check in, followed up close to the end of our stay, peerless customer service. We were there in February, and found the main level a tad cold, but our stay was otherwise a perfect 10. I would beyond a doubt return.

Gorgeous Home Away From Home

Spent ten days in this flat and could have spent months and still enjoyed it. Checkin, instructions for appliances, and other communications were expertly thought out. The kitchen is compact but very efficient and I was able to cook many meals as well as if I’d been in my own home. Upstairs, the bed area and entertainment areas were well-designed and spacious. The bathroom is amazing. Lots of hot water in the shower and lovely finishes everywhere. Bonus tiny balcony was fun to get some fresh air and people-watch. The neighborhood can’t be beat. Very close to everything and amazing views of the harbor just around the corner. The street is a staircase outside the door, so delivery guys do need to be guided a bit, but otherwise, the stairs weren’t a problem, in fact it was very charming. The only negative I could possibly think of is that this place would not be ideal for tall people as the upper floor is a bit short. Perfect for anyone under 5’10”, but taller than that may need to hunch a bit. Part of the old-world charm of Malta! Can’t wait to visit again, particularly in the summer time to see how different the islands feel.
