Casa Abuelito Julián is a rural house from the early twentieth century. Built by our great-grandfather Julián, and rehabilitated with all kinds of comforts. It still preserves the style of the traditional Herreña architecture, appreciable in the semi-circular finishes, in the door-windows, or in the preservation of the old cistern, under the living room of the house.
The house consists of two floors, the upper floor has 84m2 and the ground floor 45m2. Inside you will find two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, one on each floor; also in the upper part, the main area of the house, has a large kitchen-dining room equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals (oven, ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and utensils), living room with radio & television, and reading area, all restored from the original materials.
Casa Abuela Leonor. Restored from the old stable and haystack area, this rural country house has its main area on the ground floor, where it has a double room, living room with radio & television and a kitchen-dining room fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals (oven, ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cooking and eating utensils). This ground floor is a spacious and comfortable space, which will give you direct access to the terrace of the house, as well as to the common areas of orchards and fruit trees.
The upper part was previously the haystack area of the house, and the weakness of its structure at the time of rehabilitation prevented the recovery of the original materials. It is, therefore, a new space, built respecting the original elements, and has a full bathroom, and a double room with an independent balcony, where you can enjoy some astonishing views of the ocean, La Gomera and Teide .
You can also enjoy an independent terrace of 80m2 on the top floor, and more than 2000 meters of orchards, gardens with barbecue, table, chairs, sun umbrellas and wooden loungers. You can take a relaxing walk through the fruit orchards that make up the environment of the house, and enjoy stunning views of the sea & the islands of La Gomera and Tenerife, with the imposing Teide in the background.
