Great location in Rågeleje, beautiful, private plot. However, the cottage was very tired compared to the photos. We found the keys easily when we arrived, having negotiated the overgrown entrance, but the cottage was grubby and unaired, the bedding was stained, the bedrooms were tiny and the beds had ill fitting matress pads. There was zero welcome information, we struggled to find the washing machine (it's in the tool shed behind a sliding door), control the hot water (inadequate hot water for two adults and three teenagers), when to put the bins out... and we certainly left it cleaner than we found it. The electrical wiring was dodgy (e.g., exposed wires in the bathroom) although the fuseboard looked fairly recent. Such as shame, as the cottage is in a great location. The annexe was unusable sadly, inadequate bedding. This property would suit a smaller family, and some of the photos need to be updated - for example the wood store is featured in the photos but is empty and you need to buy wood. There was a massive hole in the living room wall covered by a rug nailed to the wall. Just a bit of updating would make so much difference.
