Beautiful property but ant problem

Firstly, this is an absolutely beautiful property, the space is amazing, perfect to relax in, lovely garden, possibility to view wildlife, close to all the things to do from walks to canoeing on the lake etc. But when we arrived there was an ant infestation, and I know that had been my concern from previous reviews. The local management tidied up as best they could and an exterminator came on the Monday (we arrived Saturday afternoon), but we were left to direct him and sign the paperwork, when we didn't really know where the problem was. We also had to clean up the resulting mess ourselves. This is undoubtedly a very lovely place to stay both location and property, but to leave renters to deal with this was not right hence I have docked a star. However, I would stay here again.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette belle maison, sans voisins et au milieu de pré. Nous avons vu le matin biches et sangliers. La maison est bien équipée, proche de nigloland. Merci à Fleur, elle était très réactive quand nous avons eu un petit problème de chaudière. Un séjour très reposant.

Très joli gîte dans lequel nous avons passé un bon moment. Belle décoration et bien équipé. Cependant l'invasion de fourmis dans la seule salle de bain qui est équipée d'une baignoire nous a fortement déplu ...

TRES TRES GROSSE DECEPTION !!! L'IMPRESSION DE S'ETRE FAIT AVOIR !!!

Réservation faite pour les fêtes de Noël en famille et avec les enfants (8 personnes). Quand nous arrivons, la maison était froide, le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas... En fait après avoir appelé le concierge qui n'était pas présent (aucun service de conciergerie présent sur place comme indiqué sur le site ), celui-ci me répond que la chaudière était certainement en panne et qu'on devait de servir des différends chauffages d'appoints présents dans la maison.... il m'indique également qu'il m'enverrait un chauffagiste dès le lendemain matin pour remettre la chaudière en marche. En effet les minuscules radiateurs d'appoints ne permettaient en aucun cas de chauffer l'intégralité des 180 m² de la maison sauf à tous les rassembler dans la même pièce au détriment des autres..... C'est ce que nous avons du faire pour toute la durée du séjour (3 jours) car jamais un chauffagiste n'est venu nous dépanner. Pendant 3 jours nous avons été dans l'obligation de rassembler les 3 ou 4 chauffages d'appoints de type chauffage salle de bains (j'ai pris des photos des appareils) dans la pièce principale pour avoir un minimum l'impression de chaleur alors que dans toutes les autres pièces sans chauffage il devait faire 16° au mieux...... Nous avons passé un réveillon de Noël très inconfortable comme vous pouvez l'imaginer. En fait, nous avons appris, le jour du départ, de la bouche même de la femme de ménage qui est arrivée sur les coups de 10h00 du matin, que la chaudière n'avait pas pu être alimentée en combustible (chaudière à pellets) depuis une semaine et ce certainement à cause du conflit des gilets jaune.... elle en avait bien averti à plusieurs reprise le concierge pendant la semaine (elle m'a montré les différends textos où elle s'inquiétait du fait que la chaudière ne fonctionnerait pas pendant notre séjour) mais le concierge n'a rien fait pour éviter que cette chaudière ne fonctionne pas. En fait il savait déjà avant notre arrivée que la chaudière ne fonctionnerait pas et il ne s'est pas inquiété plus que cela sur notre immense désagrément en plein mois de décembre de devoir passer le réveillon de Noël dans ces très mauvaises conditions. Il nous a fait croire que la chaudière était tombée en panne alors qu'il manquait juste de combustible pour la faire fonctionner. Nous avons pu faire constater par des personnes travaillant en extérieur à proximité de l'absence de chauffage. Joyeux Noël ! Signé un client plus que mécontent
