A beautiful hotel with old world charms. The room is spacious and elegantly furnished. The room has a small window but it gives a gorgeous rooftop view of the neighborhood. Walking into the hotel you immediately recognize it's a historic site. The staff at front desk is very friendly and helpful. You can have them book dinner or water taxi reservations. The walk from closest water shuttle stop takes about 12-15 mins. But with the gravel pavement and several bridges to cross, it's more than just the time especially if you carry luggage. But if you take water taxi, the hotel has its own dock, which brings you right into the lobby.

Had a great 4 night stay here shortly before Christmas. Hotel is in a great location for accessing all the tourist hotspots, but set in a quiet street just off the beaten track. All aspects of the hotel were excellent. Beautiful decor, spotlessly clean throughout, room spacious, breakfast plentiful and all staff from reception to porters to waitresses all friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of a trip to Venice.

This is an outstanding hotel. It feels like staying in a palace wit the unique architecture and charm. The staff are very helpful and the buffet breakfast was superb! We will stay here again when we come back to Venice.

The hotel is basically a place of 16th century. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of gourmet varieties. The staff are very friendly and nice. The hotel is close to the major attractions. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel and everything exceeded my expectation.

Fabulous staf and beautiful room and breakfast. The classic room was more than acceptable. I was afraid it would be too small but there was great space for luggage and the wardrobe was excellent. Loved the robes and slippers. The staff at the bat bar were helpful and friendly

Great hotel in just perfect area of Venice. Close enough to all interesting places but located in quiet part without tourists crowd. Personal on reception is extraordinary. Very polite, helpful and just modest enough. Room condition is excellent and in great shape. This was our second stay in this hotel and for sure this will be my only choice for any future Venice stay!
