Perfect location if you are going to be charter fishing. The house was clean. The kitchen was nicely appointed with what you need to cook your meals and the weber propane grill outback was perfect, not a cheap 2nd hand store one. There were even 2 oyster shucking knives which were perfect since we picked up a mini sack. The bathrooms had shampoo and soap dispensers. The water pressure was okay. The patio had a nice view of the river and trees in the back in this brackish water. There were alligators swimming by that didn't bother anyone. The fish in the back that I saw was small alligator gars probably and we did manage to catch a few blue crabs with a line and hook. There are some fishing spots on the opposite side of the area about a 5 minute drive along the road but nothing produced at that time. My only wish was that there were either ceiling fans in the bedroom or pedestal oscillating fans in each bedroom. The thermostat was locked at 68 being the lowest setting. The owner was very responsive before and during our stay. I would gladly stay here again. The nearest grocery stores is 40 minutes from here and buy on the way in or suffer with little choices and extreme prices.
