Second visit... really nice place. "Throwback" style small hotel (~ 50 rooms?) that is quiet yet close to many attractions. If you want to be next to "high stimulation" action, this is not the place. Which is why we like it! One note: parking area is really tight & some people don't read that only compact vehicles are to park on the left-hand side; larger on the right-hand. Just takes one large vehicle parked LH to clog up the drivethru. Not the hotel's fault. This is a great place!

This place felt very safe and was very close to the beach. The grab and go breakfast was fantastic with Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc and a fabulous coffee machine. The bathroom had poor ventilation and a little mold on the ceiling, but this was cleaned up during our maid service mid-week. The ocean was visible from the patio if you didn't want to walk down to the beach. The dining options close by were a little expensive, but plenty of options were easily drivable.

As an airline pilot I have spent the last 25 years in and out of hotels. Here is why this hotel almost gets there and then fails. Great location Atlantic Ocean on one end, very nice restaurant on the other. Place is well run by attentive people, but folks when the mattress is worn out, that’s it. I am there for a good night’s sleep and the place did not deliver. No hot water the next morning only sealed the deal.
