Casa Do General (afife) - Kleines Haus

Kleines haus is inserted in a large complex that also houses Casa do General. This nice and cosy house has 2 bedrooms in 2 floors, one kitchen and one bathroom. Kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator and microwave. There is also a fireplace in the kitchen.
There is a large granite terrace with direct access to the house, where you can either have lunch or just lay in the sun.

The entire complex is within walking distance to the beach, and facilities like catering (Bar, Restaurant, Internet Cafe), grocery and pharmacy are within walking distances (200-700m).
A small lake is within easy walking distance. The fast-to-reach plateau in the mountain invites you to walk and jogging and it offers wonderful views of the sea.
The Spanish border is about 11 km away in a straight line, just passing through Rio Minho, therefore a visit to Spain is easy.

Afife is a friendly place with many beautiful old stone houses located 12 km north of the coastal town of Viana do Castelo. With a beautiful long sandy beach sheltered by dunes. The actual village is located just above the sea (0.5 km - 1 km).
Between Viana do Castelo and the Spanish border, there are several beaches, and Afife is considered the most beautiful one! Leisure activities: surfing, fishing, horse riding, golf, swimming, sailing, motocross.

Cottage in Afife

This cottage is a most lovely place. We fell in love with it immediately. It has a wonderful garden and a terrasse with marvellous sunsets. Inside it was nicely furnished, very well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed our stay so much and would always Like to come back again

Beautiful cottage and garden

Everything as beautiful and well kept as seen on the pictures. Very friendly and helpful host. Only short drive to the broad sandy beach of Afife. Good spot for day trips to places near by. Cottage is situated in a small village. Very quiet area. Small supermarket and restaurants close by. There is a bigger house on the same grounds, which is also rented out, but enough space for everybody to keep your privacy.

Das Haus ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen, direkt neben der großen Casa do General. Es ist angenehm eingerichtet und hat eine sehr große Terrasse zum parkähnlichen Garten hin, der sich in mehreren Stufen anschließt. Das unten liegende Schlafzimmer (mit Bad) war im Juni noch etwas kühl und feucht. Das wird sich im Sommer sicherlichbessern. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt zwischen Rosen und Zitronenbäumen sehr genossen.

Tolles Objekt

Ein wirkliches schönes Objekt, dass wir bewohnt haben. Das kleine Haus hat eine sehr interessante Raumaufteilung auf verschiedenen Ebenen. Das große und nutzbare Grudstück ist wie ein alter Garten oder Park. Man schlendert herum und schaut auf Blühendes, Wachsendes. Ein Wohlfühlort.

Entspannter Urlaub in Nordportugal

Schönes Natursteinhaus mit großer Terasse und riesigem Garten. Man kommt zu Fuss sowohl zum schönen Strand von Afife, kann aber auch in den angrenzenden Bergen wandern, der portugisische Jakobsweg führt direkt am Ort vorbei. An- und Abreise waren unkompliziert und die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen!

Haus mit nordportugiesischem Flair

Dieses kleine Steinhaus ist absolut empfehlenswert, innen neu und geschmackvoll renoviert bietet es ortstypische Architektur mit ruhigem Ambiente und liegt angenehm abgeschieden in einer großen gut gepflegten Gartenanlage neben einem herrschaftlichen Haupthaus. Afife ist ein idealer Standort zur Erkundung der Atlantikküste sowie des Hinterlandes, Porto ist über die Autobahn in weniger als einer Stunde erreichbar. Die Eigentümerin Mafalda ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin, freundlich und hilfreich, immer erreichbar und ansonsten unsichtbar. Ich hoffe an diesem Ort erneut Ferien verbringen zu können Martin Winzer
